    Marwell Zoo

Cracking pics - not sure i like the Brokeh on a couple of the shots. Will be interesting too see how the Sony compares. Im taking the Nikon 70-300 for my outings in Cornwall next month so will update with some zoo pics too!

    Enthusiast Compact

Still think the Olympus is worth a look TBH. This article is pretty interesting with some full res crops. ThE sharpness is pretty damn good! It's a user review rather than anything too technical: http://robinwong.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/olympus-stylus-xz-2-review-street.html?m=1

    Enthusiast Compact

I used to have an S100 - good but not great. Outdoors was good but lower light and indoor shots were average. Olympus XZ-2 is another good one. http://www.ephotozine.com/article/olympus-stylus-xz-2-serious-compact-review-20658

    Better qualty photos

You kind of get to learn what ISO you need in certain situations. Just keep on practicing and things will get better.

    Sigma 18-35mm f1.8

Their new 'Art' series are looking pretty special. The new 30mm f1.4 looks pretty good too.

    Tamron lenses

Found the 17-50mm too short and was offered a Nikon 70-300 at a great price so going to use the nikon lenses!

    Better qualty photos

I usually use AF-C focus mode on moving subjects and pan and shoot.

    Why choose full frame?

I had high hopes TBH, but learn by mistakes and move on lol.

    Why choose full frame?

Yeah - not what i expected to be honest - going with the Nikon lenses instead. Would take them back, but it was not on my credit card which is a pain! Still, was worth experimenting!

    Sling Bag?

Looked at a lowepro Pro Messenger 160 AW today and size wise it's pretty much ideal. Specs of the think tank 10 look pretty much identical bar a cm here or there. Think tank a better option?

    Sling Bag?

Thinktank 10 looks pretty good size - not too small, not too big. The 5 looks too small i think.

    Sling Bag?

Just don't want a full on back pack but really like that one Clart.

    Sling Bag?

Any recommendations? Going down to Cornwall in 4 weeks and want to take all my gear with me. After a fairly compact sling type bag I think. Needs to hold body, 17-50, 70-300, 50mm and few other bits in future such as flash, maybe a wide angle too. Trying to avoid anything too big or bulky.

    Why choose full frame?

Hopefully get and about on Sunday. Was impressed by shots I took in the shop, but will see how it fares in the real world!

    Why choose full frame?

Just couldn't justify full frame costs. Had a good play with the D600 and handling terms the D7100 was near on identical. The focus points on the D600 are all so close together and don't fill the frame at all. Tried out a whole load of lenses and made my decision. Got a bit of discount and...

    Why choose full frame?

£150 cash back on D600 too. Kit lens is meant to be pretty good.

    Why choose full frame?

Ken Rockwell seems to think the D7100 is as good as the D600 with D600 only becoming clear winner at really high ISO. Not that I rea a lot in to his reviews!

    Why choose full frame?

D7100 and D600 are pretty much built the same so guess they will feel similar in hand. I think full frame would be nice but I don't think I would benefit from it enough TBH. I was selling equestrian photos with an Olympus e620 and kit lens so think the D7100 would do better! damn it!!

    Why choose full frame?

Yeah I got holiday coming up. I think the Tammy combination would be much more beneficial all round... I think lol
  25. J

    Why choose full frame?

Ah man, this ain't easy!!! D600 and tamron 24-70vc or kit lens and 50mm. or D7100 and tamron 17-50, 70-300vc and 50mm
  26. J

    Why choose full frame?

    Two I certainly can't afford!!!
  27. J

    Why choose full frame?

Well I'm going to be doing equestrain and general photography, people shots etc. if I go D600 I would only afford a 24-70. D7100 would include 17-50 and 70-300 and a prime!
  28. J

    Why choose full frame?

Kind of backed up what I was thinking. I shoot sports and mainly jpeg which kinda makes me lean towards crop. Plus the 17-50 f2.8 tamron is about a third of the 24-70 lol.

    Why choose full frame?

I have never taken that much interest in full frame, but when I was reading all the D7100 previews and reviews they compared it a lot to the D600. In some areas they said the D7100 was better, in others the D600. The difference in price of the D7100 and D600 body (if you get an import), is...

    New Logo Idea

IT does a bit on some shots. I have made it about half the size now and used a differnt font, but keep changing it around!! Now gone back to original logo as above but made it smaller!
