Wont be able to do it without stands, the 2 bolts in the exhaust well are super tucked. For the price of the labour you could buy a set from halfords and do it yourself
One drive and a day sitting, then the pedal needs to be pumped to get them to engage properly.
When I pressure bled after installing the system, the pedal was firm but there was like an air pocket type thing when I pushed the pedal hard. I didnt bench bleed the mc then, since then Ive bled...
This time from a dealer, 50k+ miles, 'Paint metallic, metallic paint'. More than likely hold on to it for years where it will get mold inside and the belts will need doing...
I was just about post about adjustable top mounts with increased castor. So ever so slightly the scrub radius has changed (more towards negative?) But the mechanical trail has moved forward. So If I ran this sort of thing I would not only give more castor but get back to the standard trail...
I take it the first is just displayed more accurate? When you add camber using the strut holes it doesnt effect the scrub radius since its the intercept of the lower joint. But If you were to place the suspension top mount inwards you would effectively being gaining a negative scrub? If it was...
Excuse my ignorance its a 172 or a non sport? Really cosmetic you can put on fins, wind deflectors, stickers.. 99% of it is personal preference. For 1k you could do wheels and tyres, springs and some maintenance and have a nice running car
Have a 172 cup setup but the pedals been going soft over time, recently manually bled just the n/s rear and the pedal was nice and firm but has gone soft again, bled both rears and again same thing. I looked and put my finger on every fitting in the car, looked at the lines and theres no obvious...
I went to Balance Motorsport in the end @LostInSpace Done a great job, he personally doesnt do the alignment theres a place next to him that he arranges to do it when he sets up the suspension.

@steviekyle13793 Depends how much camber you want. I think you could get near -2.5 just with the coilovers. Once fitted I set them to max castor which was mutual when I got them setup professionally
I would personally just make up new lines and have it exactly to length for efficiency. You might notice a slight difference in the pedal if the inside was hardline and to length rather than braided. I had a full braided setup and switched to 3/4 hardline and found things a bit more consistent...
@MarcB Thanks mate, I think I was reading your post on clio trophy last night about this? Thats a bummer though, Ill have another look at them tomorrow, its just my coilovers are slotted and have been aligned, Ive marked the position but I doubt Ill get it exact, then the toe will go out as...
Just started hearing this creaking noise the other day, ruled out its not the rack or the column, found that the n/s spring was really easy to spin round, theres no play or clunking it just seems really loose, could it be the bearing or something else?
