There hasn't been to much going on within the last few months really regarding the 182. Just been enjoying it really.
Although there has been a few changes...
decided to lower the front a little more to 'level' up the arch gaps between front and rear,
luckily the coilovers were still in good...
Small updates:
Few months ago i Decided I'd get a new 'clio' badge to replace the tarnished one...not a big change but makes all the difference to a clean shiny car ;)
And a few reflections ;)
My old valver used to do this...was the lambda sensor! I disconnected it and all was okay but I imagine that the 172 modules are a little more advanced! Lol
Get it code read and poss try new sensor/s mate. Probable per catalyst one!
Yeah there is silicone in the hole. Where you see the oil...the oil is sat inside a ring of sealant made from when the sensor was fitted and squeezed sealant out! Lol who knows what goes through some people's minds :S Lol
Im used to fitting seals at work so this should be a doddle! :) thanks
Ah okay, my bad! :p i work on ford and kia engines and they are opposite :p lol
ordered a new seal from Renault today for £6.87 :)
Should I remove the silicone from inside the hole then lol?
I bought the car off Dean. Still sounds good! But I have now fitted a decat pipe to the non resonated system.
Think the Backbox baffles are slowly starting to go though as started to get a bit tinny/rattly (may be welds blowing though...not looked)
Yeah I know not to force it round whilst connected, only tried to do it with the plug disconnected. It was literally seized solid even off the car. I got a new one coming so will give that a try :)
When I was changing my plugs, I noticed around the top of number 1 (near Vvt solenoid) it was damp with oil! On closer inspection, ther was a ring of sealant around the top of the solenoid, I removed the solenoid to find the only seal is the one in the top of the cam cover...and some more...
I have a throttle fault ATM, and this morning it wouldn't start...found the throttle butterfly was jammed shut not allowing air through to run! Open it (with alot of force :( lol) and it started
Morning all, I was out the other night and after opening the 182 up a little, it went into limp home mode.
I Pulled over, fault cleared itself with an ignition cycle...checked and cleared the codes and found p0120 throttle position sensor circuit A.
Ran fine after this until yesterday, (was...
First of all, nice 182 :)
Secondly, you say you painted stuff in BlackGold...where'd you get the paint from? Can't find it anywhere and my local place won't make it up :(
Right, time has nearly come to replace the tyres on the front of the 182. I'm am currently running 195/45/15 Goodyear eagle f1's. I was going to go for the same to keep a matching set of 4 but these are at the top of the price range really and was wondering what else people would recommend?
I...
Re: Happy Easter - 15 FREE Rally Experiences for Cliosport members with FCS Tickets n
I bought 2 tickets, does that mean I get 1 or 2 of the experiences? Obviously not both for me lol :p
First was a BG 182 with a caved in side (posted about this before but owner doesn't even glance at mine making me think he isn't interested in joining a cliosport forum)
Second was a Titanium 182, plate read something like M15 JHL
Lastly there was an arctic 182 but unfortunately didn't get a...
Ah I was just out and about snooping around as ya do :p haha nah was picking the missus (mine not yours lol) up from a party she was at in bardwell, actually...think it was that night I see you heading that way :p
Looking good mate! I see you missis' ph2 last week parked up in bardwell! Looked really tidy :) noticed the plate lol
forgot to put up a spotted thread though :dapprove: haha
First of all this isn't just my phone as a few of my friends iPhone 4's are starting to do it also but
Sometimes it seems really slow to respond to anything I do...when I unlock it whilst on Facebook for instance it respond to anything for about 15 seconds and still displays the 'lock' symbol...
