    Chi's new 225.

Makes it higher seating. I prefer to be low. Plus, never need to move it or myself obvs. If someone came to buy it, I'd adjust it for the new buyer if required.

Why not? Anyone who needs to drive my car needs to be around my height. Lol

Project Mint Ph1. Near complete pics. Ph1 fans, Hi.

Cheers chaps... LOL! I was waiting for you to show up and notice a few things. ;) Ph1 door handles are going to be swapped over from the stripped out one, yeah. The blue fits in a lot better I think. Yep, front bumper has been repainted at some point to keep it fresh. You got pics of the...

Project Mint Ph1. Near complete pics. Ph1 fans, Hi.

Have had a few people asking me for pictures of the Minter Ph1 that I've been putting together. I hate to think of how much time (and money) I've put into this, but the results speak for themselves I think. Very proud of this one. Work that's been done over the course of the last few months...

FK System B Spacers - Wrong Bolts?

Yep. Those bolts aren't right for those spacers. Everytime I've seen bolt to hub spacers, they've been flat though. Like this:

Clio 1.2 16v Rounded Spark Plugs - Unable to remove - Help!

Finally found someone who takes worse pictures than I do. Lol

    Removing Head Bolts - Order?

Nasty. Had this a few times. Either drill bit time if it's a scrap head, or get a nut welded on to the bolt if you want to re- use it.

    Another mclaren F1 crash..

Yep. That will still be repaired I reckon. The same guy has a 12C in the same colour scheme.

    Subframe Removal Help

Yeah, sounds like the additional brackets. As Mick said, will need to drill and re-tap. Would probably be fine without them though,

    Drivers door noise

Check strap. Check the bolts are all tight. If they are, will need replacing,

    Scott's Super Clean PH1 172 Project Thread

The effort gone into this is properly awesome. If I'm honest, wasted on a Clio. You should be doing restorations on something classic mate. Really impressive finish.

    McLaren P1 vs Castle Combe

Wouldn't have thought timing round Combe was even considered tbh. It's not as if it's a well known benchmark.

Fitting Koni adjustable rears on my 172, urgent advice needed.

Yep, the Koni parts have a thicker inner diameter where the damper rod is thicker, Basically, a washer, two bushes and a nut.

Will be covered up by the slam panel though surely?

    The PH1 172 Appreciation Thread.

As the wheels were off being refurbed on mine. 32k miles. Pretty much in mint condition. Just waiting on a snappy wheel and it'll be up for sale. :(

    Modified 172 phase 1 or standard 172 phase 2

Nope, buy the Odysssey. If it s***s itself on the way home, you'll make £500 back selling the Spax and wheels (as a minimum)
  25. Budgie

    help :(

Should be paying £15 delivered for one of those handles. To fit is simple. Door card off, unbolt handle, swap over. Half hour's work.

Top mount and bearing fitment with limited resources

Great guide, but utterly pointless. Made it ten times harder than it needed to be. On a 1*2, you don't need spring compressors at all. Remove strut assy from car, spin nut off. Replace in reverse order. Done.
