People can comment on what they want, and regardless of whether he's getting a 172 exhaust or not, it still looks s**t.

Never mind JON13S, let them post their comments, it is funny really to read some of them especially the ones that refer to the pictures on page 1 as this is as far they got to read with their reading speed, which also shows in the advanced vocabulary they use to describe objects: s**t, st***s etc!

I know that it is a long thread to read (because of the stupid comments) so below is a summary:
I already have another 2 threads in this forum, one for selling my bumper and one for buying an 172 bumper as well as an option for an exchange.
I have also got 2 replies until now which I am looking into

Please let me disagree. I am not talking about liking something, or not.
I am talking in the way this "style preference" is expressed. There are many ways to say something (ranging from tactful to plain rude) and this highly depends on the maturity of the person expressing the preference.
For example the right way, in IMHO (in my humble opinion) would be to reply to your post with the paragraphs above.
The incorrect way , again IMHO, would be to reply by saying "what normality are you talking about, are you stupid or something", which would be rude.

I will admit that some posts were helpful, and some even funny :approve:, and that's the only reason I am still posting here and I am also now a paid member.
If all posts were as immature as some of the worst in this thread then I would have left and got an account in cartoon-network.com where I would have much more meaningful conversations with 8 year old children.

I think the majority of the comments are based on how daft it looks, not what he is actually doing (although I'm sure they don't agree with what he is doing).
When thinking about doing this mod surely one would think "I better get the 172 bumper on and the tailpipes at the same time otherwise it'll look daft" so basically he is doing a mod that people don't agree with in the first place but only done half of it so it looks daft, that's what people are slating, not so much the fact he's going for a stealthier look, whereas if he would have put the 172 bumper on at the same time I'm sure he would have recieved much more positive or at least neutral comments, imo at least that's my take of it.

Far to much! Well that was a custom job by OMP, but I'm pretty sure you can get one for around the 600 pound mark. It depends if you want it for show or go? Mine was FIA approved bla bla bla so it costs alot more then your K-tec cheap show cage.
micloi - Ah do it anyway! Just tie the dogs/friends to the cage, I guarantee they will not move around as much.
