Personally I'd give it a swerve-no dig at the OP, but who's to say a seller hasn't just blagged the service history for a quick sale? Similar to the Cat c/d situation for me-doesn't necessarily equate to being a bad thing, but its surely leverage for a potential buyer to barter the price down...
How so bud? Don't Mk2 Initiale & RS both have xenons w/washer jets, heated wing mirrors, auto lights/wipers, CC & same seats/wheel bar being trimmed a different colour?
My mk2 1.6 averages 39-42mpg, so wouldn't really say it was particularly poor on fuel. Not sure why they're any more...
Looking forward to seeing this finished and out on track this year dude. Flocking process was interesting to read through-final result looks real nice. Kudos to Raj.
Ditto, lol. Just make sure you give it a good base sanding by hand first. The compunds i used on it didnt seem to cut too well.
Sure it'll come out eventually
How long did it take? Mine took f**king ages and i'm still not 100% happy with them.
Will start again and work out the few remaining marks when it gets a bit warmer.
Pretty sure someone on here has ported the head too (a'la 197/200 models with larger ports iirc). Anyone know what the porting is like on the old cup racer lumps or were they pretty much standard?
My 1.6 is a privilege-its ok, but the Initiale would be closest to the trim spec of your 182. Downside to the Initiale would be the grim looking wheels (imo of course). :)
Welcome Jonny, lol at the hassle with the finding a nice cup-when I was looking for mine I found 99% of the cups I viewed were much the same. All described as minters yet being thrashed, tatty or damaged once you'd looked them over.
Mondials such an awesome colour, good effort for...
Not sure about the later 182 base maps but my early 172 original map was pretty poor compared to the RSTuner(fastchip.nl) map. Doesn't really make any more power, just seems to sharpen response. Would imagine exhaust would be your best bet-BTB & Yozza seem to be popular on the 182s, cant speak...
Cups are nice, yours have the recessed oz racing logo? Cas coatings in bradford powdercoat based on £1/".
V.reasonable rate compared to what some places charge.
Re: The 'TeamAriane' clio... Ghetto goodness.
White would look tasty, mikes had his turinis done recently and looks real nice. Failing that red looks good on the f1s imo, cant wait to get the speedlines back now :D
I still need to sort you those pics too, will dig it out and give it a clean...
