I run two cars on the road but do a fair whack of mileage for work-business use insurance on the 172 is pointlessly expensive. Not really fussed about depreciation, but for me should i want to sell the 172 in a hurry, keeping it relatively low mileage example surely makes it less of a ball ache...

Hi Ginge, welcome. Not sure on the stereo question, but on both of my mk2's there's a button on the tip of the wiper stalk that you press and cycle through your trip computer (mpg, trip etc) that's in between your dials. Is this what you've been using? When i got my 172 it had a loose wire on...

Cant speak for the 182 version, but the 172 setup is really good. Build quality is superb and so quiet compared to the noisy/heavy K-CET/janetspeed system I was misfortunate enough to have being running beforehand.:dead: Will have to stick up a thread now mines covered an issue free couple of k.

These are a well handy bit of kit. Used one the other day and was surprised how well it worked.

Yup, the clips corrode and theyre usually pretty snug. Push the sharpie in against the plug inside. Its just the right size and wont damage anything.

Poke in a sharpie magic marker in the hole in the back and push it out. Dont try and lever it from the front of the lens as itll prob snap.
