It's had a hard winter of no use and other road users ignoring it..
So after i got it back from Fred i've given it a good clean and some Natty's.

TO be fair, that one in the link is a little pricey. Can get nearly 30-40 k miles for that money, but having driven both i prefer the golf and looks wise i prefer the golf.
V-Maxx WILL be softer/more forgiving than Apex, FACT.
If i went over a mildly small pot hole with Apex on, i used to prepare myself for an almighty BANG and CRASH.
Got some V-Maxx fitted which were lower and prepared myself for a worse crash and bang, when i came across a small pothole but...
Sorry, but i must have driven every different type of astra out there, and they are BORING. Driven them in all types of conditions and roads, and bland isn't descriptive enough. ClioSpot is moons ahead. MPG figures are pretty dogshit for the astra too, and don't trust the red lights, we couldn't...
Only said same corner.. but if the vxr back end stepped out, i'm sure it would be very similar. Another thing, that civic is probably stripped teh' f**k with one driver, and the vxr was not stripped with three up.

Once you take the top nut off the old strut that spring will come out with force, lol !
Won't need it for the coilovers, just make sure you wind the bottom platforms down so the springs aren't under tension. then transfer the old stuff on the new. and then bin the transport nut the...
Crikey, people just sell things at the wrong time. There's usually demand for these, and they are the decent ones rather than the shitty oz ones.
Good price, although i paid 150 with two PE2s for mine ;)
They always run that close if your low and have camber, as long as they don't touch then its fine.
Most people don't run that low so their adjuster is more in line with above the top of the tyre rather than lower down.
