Got the package today from the postman, opened it to find the replacement part that Jenic had sent to me :)
Straight away went outside and fitted it, and now...The steering wheel is fixed! I can't stress how thankful I am to Jenic - WHAT A LEGEND! :rasp:

Yesterday I was cleaning the inside of my car when I noticed that the passanger side footwell was damp...When I lifted the carpet and removed various bits of trim I found that the sponge that sits beneath the carpet was absolutely soaking...I knew I had a leak somewhere as my windows kept...

Just out of interest, how the fcuk do you get the wire to go back in without it being too tight?
Is it supposed to be really lose? Or quite tight around the disc?
Also does it matter which way you solder the wires back on? I don't have a clue which way the wires go...
As in the white cable...
I've managed to get the horn working now, took me forever to get the coiled wire back into the hole...I'm tempted to try and solder the wires back onto the connector, but don't know which wires go where lol.
Just waiting on the whole thing from Jenic now :)

I did, I removed it fine last night, just that the wheel wasn't centered so I went to move it and as I was taking it off this time it caught :(

Today I was fittin my new steering wheel, the other one wouldn't budge...I was pulling the wheel off (I'd already moved the wires out of the way) but as I pulled one of the wires caught and it yanked the wire out, the cable is a white wire when held up to the light has four electrical wires...
Don't want to even think about it,

seats were 400 including petrol
rs grille was 60
springs were 80
bumper, skirts & wing were 160
mats were 40
rs wheel was 40 (needs a new thumbgrip)
sidestrips were 45
wheels were 400...
