yeah, when you go around a corner the lights come on to light up where you're going. Its wierd at 1st but really good once you're used to it!

true, the cup packs will help resale defo. I thought you meant purely from a handling point of view, which tbh wouldn't sway my decision the handling/ride comfort compromise is just right on standard for me. Just want lower lol
have you driven 1 without the cup chassis?
I didn't get cup suspension because Im goin on coilovers when I have the dollar, however I can safely say that the standard 197 still handles really really well, easily the best handling car I've had in comparison to other cars I've driven all on...

The increased running costs are minimal, Im averaging 29.1mpg round town and my friends 172 is averaging 32mpg round town so not a huge difference, the tax is obviously the same and the insurance on the 197 is actually cheaper than the 182 or atleast it was for my quotes as the 197...
pish, mine was about 70-80mm down on the coilovers and even with a stupid ibiza cupra splitter it made it over (most) speed humps, only on a couple of stupid high 1s like the speed humps in the multi storey at crompton place bolton did it scrape ;)
