I bought mine especially as a frequent flyer. Epic is all I'll say. Great audio quality and the noise cancelling works really well, even sitting right by the engines. The battery lasts ages too!

I've been out in a few bodied cars with all sorts of mods and wasn't blown away at all. Unless you go down the forced induction route, engine mods are a waste of money IMHO.

You get what you pay for. Remember that. If you just want it slammed, get some racelands. That's about all they're good for. If you want proper suspension, you have to pay for it!

£1200+ Mine was £1500 fully set up with top mounts. But it is simply the best suspension for a Clio and it had epic handling!!

Sounds like a very expensive upgrade to me, considering its essentially the same car. I'd stick with the cup if it were me.

With those mods you'll have about 5bhp more if you're lucky, and the 182 doesn't have 182bhp too.

Performance wise there's nothing in it, some will even say the 182 is quicker due to the 197/200 being a bit lardy. I would only upgrade if you want a better car to live with everyday and aren't bothered about just performance.

I didn't take too much notice in those specs, but yes it is wrong.

Wow just had a look on official used BMW website. Cheapest E39s are about £19k!! Although they look mint, and have about 40k miles on them.

I might have my 50mm 1.4 for sale soon as I can't remember the last time I've used it! I always reach for my 85 1.4 if I want those types of shots.

I think I would have to be taken out in one before I got really serious. Despite being an epic car, coming from my car history I'm worried I'll find it too big and 'fat'. I might have to pop to yours for a passenger ride ;)

Fixed lenses rock! Partly why I got the fixed lens X100. They make you think about the shot more as you can't 'cheat' and zoom in on details. And they're normally faster if you get a good one so you can play about with super shallow depth of fields.
