sorry meant to say it's got oe shocks on front, koni on rear and sportlines all round. The ride is shocking. Suspension is really tight, no knocking whatsoever but there is just no give in suspension at all

The idle on my cup 172 is a bit lumpy even when it has warmed up and is doing my head in. I have recently had it serviced, spark plugs, HT leads, coil pack but still seems lumpy. Any ideas???
Leads are very easy to replace, just lift off the manifold (7 x 10 mil screws). the coil pack has to come off too. Do it when the manifold is cool. My car could still rev high even though it was misfiring. If it was the lambda sensor, the diagnostics would have picked it up. My money is on the...
I lifted and bonnet and noticed the coolant bubbling. Temperature gauge always shows half way, so never over heats. Haven't noticed any coolant loss in months, or loss of power. The oil cap is fine, no milky residue

Hi mate, thanks for getting back. The noise is coming from the engine but you can hear it in the cabin. A guy told me it might be the lifters. Should I be concerned? Will new oil sort it?

hi, i've noticed a clicking/ticking noise coming from the engine of my 172 cup. Does anyone know if i should be concerned? I've heard that you should change the oil. Also does anyone know the best oil to use? Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers
