theres a few things you always get off renault....
1. a sore ar5e
2. an empty wallet
3. a good reason to find a reputable specialist.
good luck with it.
played with a few won some and lost some. standing start to around a ton i can get ahead but after that they come back. also cup is far better coming out of corners/roundabouts so lots of ground can be made. beware the modified v-tec though...... different story. ar5e handed to me on a plate...
welcome to cs.
thats exactly the same as my old black saxo vts. difference being i had just sold it to some little chav.... wasnt even in his posesion for a week. feel for you but onwards and upwards. hope everyone got away with minimal injury
we always get the non abs post on here. lol. and i wouldnt mind having it to be honest but....
to be fair, knowing i haven't got it makes me drive more cautiosly in general and especially in the soaking wet. i think twice before undertaking any manouver and the only place i feel can really go...
probs to do with the lil plastic sprung switch mechanism on the stalk. needs a bit of grease or replacement i expect. they do wear eventually. hard to explain how they work but easy to see if one is in fron of you.
do love this car. any plans to smooth the boot and door handles? think it would finish it off a treat. dont see many cars that manage to pull the euro look off too well in this country.
its gunna be worth what someone wants to pay for it. if money was no object it would be sat in my garage. if you want the best you have to pay a premium. just not sure if 12k is too much of one.
yeah felt like that. i got them cheap and to be honest you only get what you pay for. i hate to think what they would be like with naff tyres on aswell. best place would be to get on a saxo/pug forum and ask whats curently best. seem to remember koni/bilstein combo being rated highly.
they were gash on my vts. so much so they came straight off and got replaced with koni adjustables. handling was crashy and unpredictable. used to bounce under braking.
the dash is what i was on about. i spend most my time there so i have to like it. same reason i chose a saxo vts over a pug 106. the dash layout looked old. just my personal taste.
who would buy a car they didnt like......
love the ph1 but i cant handle the interior just think it looks like too much going on with the funny colours. also not one for caring about too many luxuries. so ended up with a cup.........
start saving for a sport (if you are planning to upgrade in the future).......? if not just lower and alloys. get her tidy and keep the money for running it.
lol yeah if only eh. nah the first option was the buttons but then i thought i wouldnt want any wires showing so am daring to be abit different. just some suede shoe cleaner will sort it out mate.
and still no one has an answer.......................
