Wouldn't have thought they'll go off any quicker mate, if anything wouldn't being set out potentially focus wear on a section of the tread width causing them to wear unevenly-but you'd prob be able to notice that (similar to if you were running a chunk of camber).
As Fred showed, they're one of two suggested part numbers. Surely this is common knowledge that a large supplier such as ktec racing should be well aware of, advising their customers accordingly? As Fred pointed out the 406 is a cheaper pad.
Fred, granted you advise against the stainless...
Hai, you know these would look good on the black cat if you do decide to get rid gaz xxx
Lovely looking 172 rory, loving how you've not messed with the look too much.
How do you find the adjustment range on the konis? They seem like a nifty piece of kit.
Out of interest, how come the decision...
Nice looking car bud. Did you notice any difference with mounting it longitudinal as if the battery was still in place? Take it the batt is now in the wheel well?
Why would it? Surely there's something wrong at the moment if its pulling right? If it were me, i'd get it done and make sure the tyres were wearing evenly (assuming you're not intentionally running massive camber).
That's such a ballache, sorry to hear you've been shafted-the guy must've known!
Hats off to you for staying so upbeat about it all-good luck with getting her fixed up and back on the road mate;).
I'd have thought Mikes would be a chunk quicker than your old iceberg now Jamie-they were both entirley std back then & his has gotten noticeably quicker with the inlets/map. Also not sure how much difference coming up to the mid 30k mark is having on mine, but it's certainly got more pace...
I'd suggest getting a BTB-they supply the likes of Prodrive etc and beleive they've done the systems for the palmer corporate fleet. Some of the exotica they've worked on are unreal.

Totally agree. Won't he have no ncb if mum and dad have been fronting his previous policy? In which case doubtful that'll be cheap with limited experience-ouch! :(
Lol, prob me, they certainly look different :quiet:
Each to their own though just not my cuppa-so long as you're happy with it mate. It certainly drives better than the mk2, should get it on some trackdays next season with us all.

Isn't it the same as that one I had (kwikfit i think as ben172 had one originally). In which case, can't wait to see how the BTB will free it up!

If you've been playing around with the acoustic valve have you reattached it properly or sealed of the output from the plenum if youve left it dis? Could a small air leak be the problem?
