Its smooths out delivery through the range and gives an increased rev limit which can help for the odd keen/careless shift if you're tracking the car. Real easy to do as well, the refresh and update took about 20-30 mins for mine.
IMO, certainly worth a look-the output graphs you can produce...
Very good, i'm planning on putting a quick thread up with some images for the one i had fitted at their workshop recently. will drop you the link once its up mate.
Gutted that you're pride & joy has taken a scrape. All good that you've managed to sort it out between yourselves should look as good as new once you've got it sorted.
Think Ash's vee has only done around 7k though revels, think that's why he's wanting a 182 mile muncher to hammer on runs/trackdays.
Yup, no excuses Ash... :race:
565h-& take out the shims or fred will send the heavies round! I still refuse to remove mine... lol :rasp:
I wanted some pagid blues over my 2500s, but alas i'm no cs millionaire :(
I agree with Jon. Generic OEM parts from eurocarparts or similar will surely be fine. Have you measured your discs to see if they actually need replacing? If you feel like spunking money for the sake of it maybe try some DS2500s.;)
I thought the OMP Design 2 recliners had deeper bolsters than the Trendlines. Felt nicely firm yet still comfy and don't carry the same kind of 'name tax' as the Recaros.
Imagine they're not as supportive as buckets on track, but surely be a worth a look if you're still planning on being able...
Out of interest Sean, how exactly would you intend to replace a damaged/malfunctioning unit under your warranty terms if these units are no longer being manufactured? :S
Some good pics there fella. I didn't get any as the cards filled up with the videos, these are the event ones and a few my old man took. Need to find a decent quicktime editor or converter for the video as the files are pretty big. :dead...
Good pics there jamie. Will bang on the ones i got later when i can get on a decent connection. Think Mike has a load too.
Awesome day though, really good bunch of people there with the clios-good to meet the williams guys.
Be keen to see what yours is putting out mike. You certainly seem to have one of the better ones.
Agree with the comments re the airbox. Be interesting to compare the maps too.
Yup, the spring seat was just jammed up solid against the top of the carrier without any grinding/filing of the seating faces. Still running the stainless shims, again to help allevaite binding as the casting on my carriers isn't the best/smoothest. Runs fine with little to no squeal to be fair.
Wasnt there some guy on here who'd superglued his plate on?! God knows why. Good luck with getting it off without paint damage if someones been equally as stupid in this case :(
Nevermind a trophy-get a proper clio. All that's missing are some 2118s. Done.

Why? Just file/grind them and keep trial fitting until they fit right (moving them around in the grubby carriers will leave marks on any high spots). Mine (565) needed material removing from both the sides and the lower contact edges. As Fred pointed out make sure there's a tiny amount of vert...
Gutted, if we'd known we'd have all piled into yours for a brew on the way back ;)
197 looks stunning Gaz-perfect stance! Can very well see why you miss it.
I've put the cf bullets on mine, looks odd at first going from the contrast of the OEM silver badges but they've really grown on me.
Great 182 Kirsty, looks to be in good hands.
