Feel free to add into it.

Few of us headed over in to north Wales last night-quality scenery, fairly clear roads and an interesting single track/rally stage diversion courtesy of Auckys satnav thrown in for good measure! :rasp:
Route was pretty much this & around the lake & back when we got there;
Clicky...
Sportlines with std dampers felt pretty nice over in n.wales yesterday. If you're happy with the drop of the sportlines have you considered the koni adjustables?
As above. The join on my prev exhaust wasnt properly sealed. Made almost what id describe as a wooshing noise under moderate load. Worth getting it sorted as itll likely be robbing you of power if it is blowing.
Itll run any as std. Henk at Fastchip.nl scripts his maps for 98 ron. Even so im running his latest one & tbh only use vpower for the lubricants & additives it contains versus the marginally higher octane rating.
I thought he meant that too. All info on the RS pages only refers to ph2-awesome looking cars.
If you do a search on here someone got detailed engine build specs from one of renault fr's senior race techs on the tweaked K4m lumps they run. Think it may have been franx?
Good choice. Was yours the 2.0t with the opel badges? If so looked pretty nice.
Shame you weren't free this sat just gone a few of us went for a run over into north wales. Some awesome roads.
Few pics up in auckys media thread...
Failing the suggestions for sanitisers/deoderisers, have you checked that your front bulkhead drains under the scuttle panels are clear? I've had a blockage in mine before which was allowing water to build up and overtop into the fan unit/vent system on the drivers side.
I assume the smell on...
Apologies also for the no-show today:(
Got invited back after the christening so only just managed to get away now. Keen to see the pics, was it a good meet?
That was us aye! Fantastic run, great roads, minimal traffic & some awesome scenery out there. We really lucked out with it bein so dry. These runs need to kept as a regular fixture imo, good craic for sure.
Theres a useful buyers guide worth looking over that may help. Belts is obviously a biggie, along with general clutch/box/exhaust wear. If it has no history you can check for advisories on the mot website which may help highlight any prev gray areas on the car. On the whole these arent put...
Been wondering who's car that was on the banner-looked awesome with the black 2118s.
Can see the logic with the company logo, but not a fan of the blue tbh.
Not sure about the twingo but my k4m has a short mani & a gooseneck cat that sits right about where the mystery box does on yours. Have you not considered a different airbox setup?
IMO, butchering your exhaust sounds risky to potentially end up down on power/torque for the sake of how itd sound.
