    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

Indeed I can. It's their version of the infamous black hole for us with lighter coloured cars as I'm sure you're well aware. I was quite impressed with it to be honest, acted as a great filler after polishing and seemed to add impressive amounts of gloss. I wasn't expecting too much as I...

    Project #69; Clio 182FF

Thanks to your post I have now space blanket-ed my rear quarters, my boot floor and between the carpet and rear struts in the boot! I've also lined the front door cards in heat and sound reflective material that's around 10mm thick, leaving my car considerably quiter. Cheers mate!

    Short shifter pin query.

Ah downwards you say. There was me trying to pull it ---> like that. I must have left something else in the bottom of it, there's no way the bushes will go through the hole the circlip came out of!

    Short shifter pin query.

Do you just pull it so the bushes come through the hole that circlip comes out of or the frontal one?

    Short shifter pin query.

Still cannot move it. I can't see how it comes out, the plastic holder looks impossible to remove. Has anyone got a suggestion on how to get it out, or can you tell me how you did yours? Thanks!

Ah okay. Thanks for that, I'll have another go tomorrow. A bit of force is always the answer!

Hmm.. Odd. Do I only need to remove the circlip, or am I missing something? Mine's not budging.

    Short shifter pin query.

Evening all, Just a quick one. I was trying to fit my short shifter pin this afternoon, and I've got as far as removing the circlip, but for the life of me I cannot remove the plastic bits underneath, namely these buggers: http://img638.imageshack.us/img638/1212/dsc00480wq.jpg...

    Cruise control fault

This was my thinking. /\ I had the clutch switch plug and the plug next to the esp switch. I've had a tinker this afternoon, and it turns out that when the car is running and i switch cruise on, there's no power coming through to the switches on the steering wheel. This leads me to...

    Cruise control fault

Cheers Mick I had suspected that might be the case. Is there a way if finding out if it's N2 or N3 without clip? Will clip be able to get it to work?

    Cruise control fault

    Cruise control fault

Now I know that there's loads of these threads already, but I've had a good nose around and can't quite find the answer the I'm after. I recently retrofitted cruise control to my car after seeing what other people had used to do so, so I've fitted the dash switch, cruise squid, clutch switch...

I've had fk sport springs + shocks on my old e36. They expired by coating themselves in grease and going soft within 15k of commuting. Would never recommend or buy them again.

    Quick n/s driveshaft query...

Morning all, Quick question. The inner gaitor on the n/s driveshaft - does the outer part of it that seals onto the shaft itself have to go over the plastic ring that's on the shaft already when refitting? Doesn't look like it will fit easily if that's the case, I've got the gaitor on...
