Re: Stopping interioer/boot lights draining the battery.
swop lights with LED ones, but if yer using yer car on a daily basis it shouldnt drain battery.
When you say the battery is too small , what are you using?
mine was fixed by cleaning the rear cluster connections could see where water had corroded 2 connections and shorting it. Had to do it twice since owning the car (5years now)
yer if its a phase 2 172 / 182 yes, just a case of taking old one off taking the old inner rubbers out and replacing with the upgraded ones, then re fit
well the power flex cured my engine nocking under hard acceleration there not too expensive tbh

driver side mirror, under side theres the hole it is usually that making the noise.
Yer thin metal plates either side of the pads shouldnt be in, just check theres a slight gap and there free moving within the calliper just remember when the metal heats from braking itll expand slightly.
knocking will prolly be dog bone mount, either replace with standard or get uprated power flex ones from kam racing. Slight more vibration on cold start ups but will last longer.
With brakes see if the shims are still in as ppl recomend removing these, also check the clearence of the pads...
try re bleeding all brakes. In this order
N/S rear, N/S Front, O/S Rear, O/S Front
its on the caliper by looks see this thread

if the abs ring was done right , make sure u havent nocked the sensor.
If the pedel goes flat to floor , try turning engine on and using brakes.
Are u using a easibleed thing when bleeding them
If its not the top temp sensor its prolly this

some say take back off and leave lights on,
i did that with hair dryer on front as well. was better then it was
Found best way positioner hair dryer at back blowing past bulb on a low speed took mine about 20-30 mins before they fully cleared, but luckily its never come back. prolly will...
take original off and swap it , simple as that tbh , its 2 bolts
