Now I know this is not on the sort of scale some people go to, and I've not spent hours on the photos, just wanted to check out the location. It's an old abandoned poultry warehouse near Thirsk, been in this sort of state for at least two years. It's a huge location and will be going back for...
But what they really need to be showing off is what really matters - the physics. You can pretty a game up as much as you like, but if it doesn't drive well, it's fucked.
If you buy an Arcade you're going to have to factor in the cost of a hard-drive to actually play the game, so you're gonna be adding on another £40 or so at least anyway. Elite ftw.

I would go for the Elite over the basic one, not a lot of money more, you get the better console (not many have failed yet) bigger harddrive which is essential for installing games and addon packs etc. Definitely worth having.
Re: Mass NY & NW meet Saturday 30th Jan!!
If it's a Saturday at the Trafford Centre, I might have to reconsider. It's a long way to drive just to get stuck in traffic for hours and hours on the way back. Although the Yorkshire lot could meet up at Hartshead Moor, even if I was nearly killed...
Wario Ware Smooth Moves is probably worth a go, it's basically just a load of mini-games. Some silly things like putting granny's teeth back in, driving a little car trying to avoid cows in the road. I liked it and I have the mental capacity of a four year old, so give it a go :)
Had a little moment tonight in a Leon Cupra - took a bit too much kerb on the left, spat out onto the paint onto two wheels. Unsettled for the next corner, bit of handbrake sorted it :)
