My car came with a Varley redtop 20 which was near new. Dummy here kept letting it go flat and eventually it blew a cell and took my ECU with it. So either keep them on trickle charge when not in use or disconnect them.
Yes mate, Chain needs to be off the car though. I checked this chain with the new chain I'd bought and they where the same length. Saying that if manufacture of the new chain couldn't get the timing links in the right place there's no saying the chain was the correct length.
What you thinking...
Ok, so not Clio related but you lot are much more knowledgeable than most.
So after the recent Toyota 2ZZ-GE engine swap into my MR2 Roadster with the new (old) 2001 150k mile engine the crossover to lift (VTEC if you will) and 6200rpm onwards is definitely not as strong as it was on the old...
500 miles per tank for me so 45 mpg. Mostly motorway in rush hour traffic. Average speed over a tank around 30 mph.
RWD though so will be better than the AWD.
Yep all the time. Take my MR2 in on a Friday sometimes and you can see them all bitching like school girls. Probably saying mid life crisis blah, blah...
Has this been in for the EGR cooler recall? Mine has just been in and they said they didn't even check it and just replaced it anyway. So new EGR cooler, coolant, health check and valet for free. Oh and a new 1 series as a courtesy car for the day.
Guy was saying they just replace them now as...
Go 205 45 16 Rainsport 5. Much stiffer side walls than the 3 and better all round tyre. Just done Oulton park on them in storm Dennis. Very impressive.
I just got a set of these, seem decent for the money.

Not to bad then really, probably only cost you £1-1.5k more a year all in. It would have been more like £2.5k more expensive for me. I just figured the cost savings from the 330d over a M135i can all go towards track days in the MR2. I must say though if I ever went back to just one car I'd...
EBC pads are a strange one. Work well on some cars not on others. I use them in my MR2 and they preform well all day long and have lasted 5+ days with another day left on them. I've also used them in a fat 6MPS as well and they again performed well all day albeit needed replacing after one day...
