It was a joke obviously! You can clearly see the Mondeo struggling in the damp when I was able to 'mugg it off'. When dry it does indeed pull away...as it should.
Mondeo is 280hp per tonne on slicks, Skoda is 170hp per tonne on road tyres.
Must be selling after getting mugged off by a taxi :ROFLMAO:

My advise, first check your speed sensors aren't built up with brake disc/pad shards, then make sure...
Mate, who cares what others think. Especially bloody strangers on a forum. If you like the style, go for it.
This place is full of older guys that take the piss, but 99% of them dont mean any harm, it's just banter. Don't take this place seriously and give as good as you get and you'll love...

Yes they soften up the outer layer of the tyre. The more you apply in multiple applications the deeper it goes. I advise applying 2-3 coats and on the last one wrap them in cling film and leave for 24-48 hours.
It bloody stinks though so leave them in a shed or somewhere that you don't mind...
You've gone from dedicated soft track tyres with 60 treadware that don't need lots, if any heat to grip to a hard road/track tyre with 200+ treadware that require lots of heat to work properly. The dry/damp grip difference will be massive.
I really don't understand why people run these half...
I've had work done by him in the past and lets just say I wouldn't use his services again.
I do feel sorry for the guy with the Megane though as he's surly the innocent party in all this. Ultimately he left him with a perfectly healthy car and 18 months later has to retrieve it waterlogged and...
