Good to hear you guys had a fun trip :drunk:
Stuff like this is good for the site, though no body was able to take up your offer, its the thought that counts
Haha! Busted! :o
Yeah was me, I had an engine and gearbox oil change booked in at Falkland Performance. Ground moisture levels were just bearable to make the trip up :p
Was dark enough that the auto headlights wouldn't go off, I wasn't just being a c**t blinding everyone lol
I'll soon be...
PM me if you want the full sized files emailed over
Can't find the picture thread where everyone was putting up their pics, this is the first of me getting time to sort through mine.
A couple haven't re-sized for some reason :S But hey ho, you get the gist
I'm still trying to work out what my award was for last year. Still no idea what it was for, there was no mention of it in the show write up in PFC though all the rest of the awards and winners were listed
I should be good for this, will be finishing work at 7am after a nightshift though :sleepy:
Nice work with the video
Shame the official video wasnt better on SCS's facebook page, theirs has adverts pop up through it. Typically bad timing as they have one pop up JUST as they panned over our stand :banghead:
Hmmmm as fun as a track stint would be i doubt i'd find the courage to put the foot down much
Put me down for a stand spac please John. I'll need to double check my shifts to make sure im off
I was torn between one of these and a vee for a seriously long time.
Trying to find one that ticked all my boxes didn't happen though and I fell into the trap of starting to believe the horror stories. My dad had an faultless RX8 for years, so i know what you mean about not believing...
That Focus RS really pulled off the yellow and carbon! Loved it
As per usual (IMO) a couple of the awards went to dubious winners, the show and shine this year was a typical example. I really didnt rate the NSX's paint at all, much more worthy winners who had gone to much more effort overall...
John, can you find out what the script is for setting up the Saturday?
I was speaking to a mate at work - who's showing with another stand - and he said that you can set up in the secc from 10-5pm on Saturday. I'm tempted to go through then as it will mean less of a rush, plus hopefully I can...
You get what you pay for though imo. Depends on how picky you are too.
Anyone can pick up a DA, charge £200 and make paint look better. Depends what results the customer wants
For an enhancement detail PB charge £600 + vat. Actual correction work starts from £900+vat and probably goes on to...
Price is dependant on the detailer, how much needs done/you want done plus other things really.
Would expect a price around the £600/£700 mark for paint in average condition and a 2 stage correction - to give you a ballpark figure.
So many variables to consider though
Glad you've (mostly) enjoyed the ownership so far. Know exactly the feeling you're on about. It's so contagious, I'm already dreading the day the for sale has to get written.
Is it a daily drive?
I'm sure if you google most common cars along with the word "issues" you'll find a whole lot of problems you might have. Clio's are no exception
Spec sounds great, hopefully doesn't take long to shift that. Always loved the shape of the rx's, sounds really nice even with stock internals and...
Nothing wrong with pricing high if the dealer doesn't "need" to sell it quick.
Not like anyone would go to see a car advertised at 12k and pay 14k... Price it high and if someone walks in and offers 15k the dealer would likely make a sale.
Prices for the vee's have been at bargain bottom for...
Hopefully the prices here are on a slow rise. They'l never hit those heights but who knows why they demand a much higher price on the continent than here.
Was looking forward to a good drive today, missed that and the rugby after everything!
For those who wanted to see the vee, sorry - it'll definately be on the CS stand at Scottish Car Show if you dont see it at a meet before then :o
Was just about to take the clio for a spin there, first of the year and all that... make sure everythings ok for the morn.
Came out the shower to see it snowing :headno: Normally love the snow but not when my ocd cleaning side wants the roads to be super dry for the next 24 hours!!!
