Yeah at £45-£50 for a genuine service kit it’s a no brainer. Been doing the daily dci every 7000 miles roughly as it doesn’t get shown much love but they’re cheap to run and it’s not let me down yet! 🤞🏻
Available as a new part from Renault. @K_McDermott just got one last week.
Hoping to have an alternative sorted in the near future to compliment the brass shifter bushes 👍🏻
I know that they can take a few miles to loosen up a touch. But as @RichValver mentioned. It does look like there’s a coating of paint on the pivot pin that goes through the centre of the bushes.
If using it doesn’t free it up. You should be able to prize the pin out using a set of grips or...
Sorry to hear your having issues @DomP182.
Have I read it right that’s it’s only one of the bushes that your struggling with?

Got a dci 70 kangoo. With intercooler!

@Romanian Tyre Fitter how much of a hit has it took?
@scott.kir I believe it’s a new product, to almost replicate the ones that people make. (And themselves) for civics etc.
Basically what I’m saying is I’d be surprised if you would be able to find any feedback from someone with one. But there must be someone whose had one fitted for testing 👍🏻
I’ve just sent 5 pairs of brass top hat bushes out to be tested and get some feedback.
Once they’re fitted and I’ve had some feedback I was going to look into doing a small batch of them.
in terms of tightening it all up, these will make a great difference to a 15 year old setup replacing the...
Been advised to go for v184 or previous.
Struggling to find a suitable copy without purchasing off eBay which I’m dubious about.
Anyone got a reliable source they can help with?
Cheers
Half way through doing my kangoo van
Used the dodomat bitumen/ foil sheets mainly. Makes a massive difference on the larger panels.
Also used a sticky backed foam sheet on the arches and some other areas to add a little extra. Not heavy at all.
A pack of 20 sheets is about £30 and a few kg...
