Not sure i actually like that. Think the stance is going a bit far for my liking.
Matt paint job's generally suck to own too. My Duc was matt black before i had it sprayed and it was such a bore to wash.
Also, what i'd like to add is, don't always assume a young lad is just a chav in a modded car trying to pull 14 year olds. I'm 23, look 12, but i am 23 haha. I felt a clown in my Saxo at times because i knew people would stereo-type me but i loved the car and it had well chosen mod's. Majority...
Not saying it's in the same league but yes. I can guarantee anybody who took a VTS round a track or on a fun B-Road would love it as a driving experience. Build quality on the other hand... Lol.
I didn't mean it was thrashing the engine in terms of abusing it. But like the chap in the chippy said, it annoyed him that he had to rev the tit's off it for half an hour (obviously not in literal terms) before a gear change to make it go anywhere.
Oh yea, i've actually not driven one. Been in a few, but not personally driven. But from what i have experienced and from what i've read they seem like an engine which would be much more at home on a track than it would on the road.
Nor did i mean to sound like i was saying they're a bad engine...
Ugh, don't mention the folks who reckon vtec is the best thing since sliced bread. Half my mate's are like that and it absolutely does my head in.
As it happens i was talking to the bloke who own's the chippy near me tonight. He had an S2000 and a Focus ST and he said the ST was a much better...
Couple of my mates...
Bobble's old EK:
Nick's Coupe, perhaps not to some's taste but he's owned this car longer than i've been driving and it's pretty epic some of the mod's:
The Gixer is actually quite docile if you make it be, as we all know, only as fast as you make it go. But with all that power there you're constantly wanting to let it rip. I do ride it with a bit of nervousness about me - although i'm unsure if that's just due to how much money it's had spent...
He's certainly a jammy git lol. Never got to ride the 1098R unfortunately. I hadn't passed my test that long and didn't trust myself. My dad say's it was amazing and the most impressive bit was the brake's. Say's it was like hitting a wall the way they stopped you. The Gixer's an animal though...
Shall i add some of my Uncle's 1098R? Yes?
With my Aunty's old Blade, she's got a new R1 now
Weird one this, my Dad's Cagiva V-Raptor
My Duc
My Uncle's current Gixer... Worx replica
That's an interesting one pal but until i sell my Duc i won't have enough money for a new bike anyway... I've got 1500 or so to one side but need more yet.
Plus, i'm not sure i could hack a sport's bike. Riding my Uncle's Gixer does my back in and my wrist's... Not good when i'm 23 'ey! Haha.
Baffle's me why folks remove mirror's. Do you just not use them or something? I know i wouldn't be wanting to go far on the Duc without them.
I wouldn't want to be behind somebody who hasn't got any either. Not the safest thing regard's overtaking is it. That said, i'm not struck on your...
Must admit, some of those with black rim's look brilliant. However i think i'm going to stick with silver. I'm certain it will work better in the end result.
Amazes me how many people on here cut springs... Saxo's are meant to be the king of chav, yet i don't know of a single member on SaxP who has cut springs!
As said, even if you wanted to cut your springs, lowering spring's are so cheap it's not really worth the hassle of cutting your originals...
It's probably because i'm used to the UK spec, but it looks bit of a mongrel lol. The front bumper is actually quite nice by itself... But i don't think it matches the car's line's.
Lol at how he say's in his blog 'chavved up British Corsa GSI'... I don't think he can go calling anyone names after crashing only 7 seconds into his lap :P
Sorry for all my noob question's lately people. I knew plenty about Saxo's but know next to nothing about RS Clio's :(
Right, i've ordered some K-Tec coilover's for my ph2 172. I've heard some people have trouble regard's catching once lowered. I'll be going down about 40mm, 50mm max(!)...
I have to agree. The Green isn't that nice imo and grey leather is just so 'old person' lol. Not something i'd personally want to own, but whatever float's your boat.
