in fact, looking at your previous pics, they look like 1.5 hub side before the knuckle and then 1.25 afterwards. So you can just buy 1.5 studs both ends.
1.25 is more Japanese thread. I think its more a choice of different nuts. No difference in strength.
However, is yours 1.25 both ends and your hubs will be tapped out to the same. Therefore you'd need to replace like that or get new hubs/modify for the normal 1.5 pitch.
Have you tried putting white vanish in a bucket with water, pulling the seat belts out as far as possible (I undone the bottom t40 torx bolt to release it all) and then letting them sit in the bucket for a few good hours (think it recommends 6 hours on the tub?)
It does get rid of some stains...
Well guessed. Longest I've owned a car. Got it on 106k, think its done 142k now?
As for recaros, they are nice but the standard seats are doing me ok for now.
I "think" that's a non sport windscreen rubber. Renault did 2 versions I recall when I bought a set and the chap said the sides was the same but one top on had a lip, which I thought was a non sport one. Both fit the same. I guess the lip is to deflect the rain away from a sunroof?
First hot hatch was my 2nd car. Clio 182. (2007)
Current hot hatch is a clio 182.
And in between, the only hot hatches I've had are 1*2s! I haven't progressed much.
Love seeing a ph1 being treated well.
As for the big service, its once every 5 years so not too bad in the grand scheme of things.
I also had a iceberg ph1 years ago.
If the corrosion has come back already, my guess is that they didn't originally get rid of the rust. Rather than just sanding it, you need to dig it out. The best way to do this is to paint strip it back fully to bare metal to expose the rust spots and sand them out. That way you have a fresh...
Congratulations on the house mate. Always great getting on the property ladder.
The boot nets are great. Really handy. Although, they always used to be £20 so they've gone up in price, but it doesn't matter as you have one now.
Buy dont get rid if it owes you no money. These cars are as good...
Agreed it is, but this shouldn't of happened after such a short space of time. Especially as they claim to be the best on the market with a strong durable coating.
Just a little heads up for anybody looking in the future really.
I forgot to add in here but I bought the A1 Tech ones and fitted them. Cost £60 for 8 (already had the fronts from ages ago)
Dont buy them. This was after 2 weeks/250ish miles.
I changed to the Bimmec ones and used ACF50 as recommended, and they have been spot on. I'll get some pics...
I think that's because we have shallow wheel nuts. A slightly longer wheel nut would make it look less. And as mentioned, that's without a 5mm spacer.
But unfortunately 68mm seems to be the shortest 10.9 HT stud there is.
This is with 68mm and a 5mm spacer on the rears. (Excuse the dirty wheel)
