Quick question,
My front break pads on my 1.2 16v Clio have almost gone, and I don't fancy paying a garage near on £100 to do it as I know the parts arn't very expensive. How easy are they do fit yourself? I don't have the most amazing technical knowledge but is it possible? Any guides or...
Cheers mate, Im going to take some decent pictures probably tomorrow, as I havent been able to give her a clean yet, she's covered in salt and much, I also need to get the back lowered a little more,.
Finally got the coilovers on!
Didnt need my 25mm spacers as suggested by a few people, looks great but I would like my wheel bearings. So I will be selling my 25mm hubcentric spacers very soon, as id like to make back my £50 :dapprove: I also didn't need my camber bolts which cost me £40 from...
Thanks Jon, I'm not planning on putting 25mm on the back anyways, just the front them possibly get some later on for the rear like 15mm or something?
The Eibach springs will make your car look lower, as shown, mine is lowered 40mm and it made my wheels look part of my car! :approve: As Jon.G...
Hello mate, well I'm currently on 40mm springs and standard shocks, which is fine to be honest, its bumpy, but bearable. I only posted one picture btw? And yes, they are 15" wheels.
The coilovers look good although I don't know if anyone has used them before, but do some research and see if...
The alloys are Kie forces 10's 15inch in hypersilver, managed to pick them up on the cheap a year ago, not sure how much they'd cost now.
You'd need uprated shocks if you were going for a 60mm drop most likely.
I don't have the balls to! LOL! Ive never done anything like that before and I'm scared of messing it up and causing damage! Id rather just getting all done properly and not have to worry, lol.
You don't NEED them, I think it depends, id spoken to a few people on here with Rokkor's and they all needed them, at the end of the day If I don't need mine I'll sell em ;) Spacers = stance, I want. Top mounts, well think it depends on your current ones, but mine are f**ked so just bought some...
Recessed will sound the same, just depends if you want an exhaust popping out, I just wanted something subtle that sounds nice. It doesn't go right underneath the bumper but to someone who doesn't know it does look standard, plus its cheaper ;)
If you don't have coilovers sorted before FCS and...
40mm on standard shocks will be abit rough, Im currently on 40mm lowering springs and it looks like this:
Just bought some Rokkor coilovers for £160.20 that's with a cliosport.net discount because I asked them nicely :rasp: The bolt spacing on your Clio will be 58mm. Ive yet to fit them, but...
Yeah, I fitted it with a friend, very easy to fit, however its not as stealth as they say. There's no room for it to fit any further up, but its still very nice. I'll put some pics up of my exhaust to for you. Yeah I will get some pics of the coilovers and whack them on my progress block this...
haha yeah, that's what I was thinking, people kept telling me to do it myself but I don't have the confidence. Yeah the exhaust sounds so much better in real life. RS is a great little mod, really smartens up the front end. Ermm, im not to sure, coilovers are going on this Saturday, apart from...
I want to colour code, but dont have the balls to do it myself and i dont really want to pay to get it done. The exhaust system is really good, i love it. check out my video on my blog.
I went for some Rokkor coilovers, cheap and chearful, as im after looks rather than performance. RS grille and lowered will look good mate, maybe some alloys?
Yeah, we are, love being not such a common colour
Haha, mines alright. getting slammed this weekend hopefully :D Yeah, I made the mistake of changing the rear lights once, looks so much better standard in my opinion. I love this colour to, not to many about.
