any ideas what coilovers you are going to go for as i am probably gonna put some on mine this year at some point when i get money and time, and i have no idea which are good for the 1.2.

Alright sbridgey, Yeah its the money thing for me too mate coilovers aren't cheap for the clio. I've got my eyes on a V-Maxx set at the minute, they're £400 on ebay. Yeah please do mate, I will update it as and when I have new stuff to show. Yeah I did put the side repeaters on, they're auto-art ones from ebay, they're alright.

Take a look at rokkor coilovers, may need to change your hubs over but for £180 for tye Coileys (less when your member on here) it will still work out LOADS cheaper than V-Maxx ones

Ahhh yeah, I've heard of Rokkor coilovers and e-mailed them asking about fitment to my car and they told me they didn't do a kit that would fit, is that to do with the hubs you mentioned earlier ? I might just get the V-Maxx ones though, I dunno. Guess I'll have to see how money is. How do I become a member on here ?

Yeah it's the hub spacing thats different from the kit they sell, although I thought the 16v ones were 58mm??

I bought a 58mm set not long ago for my 1.2 16v and they fit fine!
So I doYours is looking much better than mine at the minute though. I don't have those black tail lights on it now, changed back over to the originals this weekend. I love the colour of the car.

Yeah, I made the mistake of changing the rear lights once, looks so much better standard in my opinion. I love this colour to, not to many about.

Ahhh yeah, I saw on your thread that your coilies had arrived. What you got ? That'll be sweet, make sure you post pics I wanna see. I'm gonna be getting me some V-maxx after my MOT. Not doing to much to mine till after then, except maybe RS grille and just little bits. Yeah I didn't realise how nice the standard ones are until I changed them over, bit of a bummer. I agree, we are a bit of a rare breed.

I went for some Rokkor coilovers, cheap and chearful, as im after looks rather than performance. RS grille and lowered will look good mate, maybe some alloys?

Ahhh right, yeah I've heard quite a lot about those, but for some reason I still really want the V-maxx ones. Exactly what I'm thinking, I might colour code as well, think it'll freshen it up a bit. I know, I never see any our colour out on the road. Is that K-tec stealth system you've got worth it ? I'm really tempted to buy a reasonably cheap but nice sounding exhaust system.
I want to colour code, but dont have the balls to do it myself and i dont really want to pay to get it done. The exhaust system is really good, i love it. check out my video on my blog.

Haha. neither do I, I know I'd end up making it look sh*t. Think I'm just gonna find a decent place and pay for it to be done properly, can't cost that much can it ? Ahhh yeah I saw the video, sounds amazing, guessing it sounds even better like actually hearing it from the car. Think I'm gonna get me an RS grille ordered. What you planning next ?
haha yeah, that's what I was thinking, people kept telling me to do it myself but I don't have the confidence. Yeah the exhaust sounds so much better in real life. RS is a great little mod, really smartens up the front end. Ermm, im not to sure, coilovers are going on this Saturday, apart from that, probably just a couple of little things like a small Ariel, silvertec bulbs at the front, just tidy it up before FCS 11.

Yeah, I fitted it with a friend, very easy to fit, however its not as stealth as they say. There's no room for it to fit any further up, but its still very nice. I'll put some pics up of my exhaust to for you. Yeah I will get some pics of the coilovers and whack them on my progress block this weekend. What you wanting to do for FCS? But I'll let you know. Ive waited a year for coilovers and just thought what the hell might aswell do it! Patients is a virtue though mate, if you take your time you have more sense of achievement. Its taken me a couple of year to save up for various bits and pieces. Cherry Red crew, lol, don't worry about mine being modified or not, I went to FCS 09 completely standard, lol!

Ahhh cheers for that mate :cheers: But I will most likely have coilovers by then, they are high on my list of things. As well as getting the nasty looking dent pulled from my drivers side door, I didn't put it there, the woman that I brought the car from had done it. Haha. did you really ?
