lol..believe me mate..i dont do debt at all..some of my mates are over 20k in debt on cars..i think its shocking..what i owe on the vee is all i owe.. and im safe in the knowledge that if things ever went tits up..the car nearly covers double the loan amount..so no negative equity either...

pecan... only 7k left on the vee to pay...so if i got maybe 11-12k for it...thats 5k in my hand..i have 5k saved...wouldnt use all of that maybe 2k..so just a 7k bank loan would see the gti perfect i know the resale value is the only thing off putting me..i have driven 2 P1's now...awesome...

cupster..yep..19's...they look in proportion with the rest of the car IMHO..the standard 17s and dragster tyres did the car no justice...

am i the only one that actually preffered the 197 to the 172/182? i am unbiased as i have owned a 172 cup and currently a V6...if i needed 4 seats and a nice car to drive yet still handle excellent...i would be seriously looking at a 197 (cup version when available) the gearbox is fantastic...

i was in the silver mk1 v6..you were both looking.. car looked sooo damn fine..the 172 cups still do it for me..was it lowered??
