fred, booked in on the 9th for a meeting with the local wheel refurb bit, myself and the renault service manager...where they will explain the best way to get them re-done if poss, if not and im not happy we're talking replacements...(and i wont be telling them i got them cheap) ;)

yep, good mates with the lads at my local tyre spot so thats discounted..as were the wheels... wheels RRP is £400ish a corner without tyres...i paid £1500 with tyres :D:D

no mate, its not R-Tecs one..that was some shed with launch control etc..on a rear wheel drive car with too much grip anyways i never understood their thinking there front tyres are £98 each...rears are £110 each

dan..my dad has an M3 and the customer service is unbeliveable..they bend over backwards..always meet a deadline..make you feel welcome and take perfect care of your car, it actually makes going to the dealer pleasurable..renault are extremely crap!

yep its just wheels, piperX viper and k-tec exhaust got more attention than some of the fiberglassed up stuff on 42" wheels!

it wasnt left on while i was away for the stand..the wrench is about £100 for a replacement from TSW..i was always in sight basically! :)

i believe k-tec are working on a 197 exhaust..until then just remove the airbox and put some of your mums tights over the inlet, and take the exhaust off...it'll sound MINT!! you know it needs some 21" spinners..

The handling was very chuckable of what i could try the roads were quite busy, He said to come back when i had a bit more time or they would even bring the car out to my house and let me try its abilities on my local roads i know well..i love the service at benfields!! also worth of note...

My local dealer benfields of carlisle has just got 2 197's in..the demo in black, and a racing blue for the showroom.. first off i have to say..pictures do this car no justice..it is a big car and made my v6 look teeny but it does look impressive in the flesh, especially in black. So..off...

whack in on your dads name im with elephant..21 years old..£870 with piperX, k-tec and 19" wheels declared :) the mk1 is such a damn good car once you learn it! dont believe the hype from half the people who've never driven one
