Haha, I used to get all my track gear in mine. 4x wheels, big tool box, trolley Jack, fluids etc. Rear seats out mind.

Just change the TRE and take it from there. If it's still wobbly have other components checked.

Could also be a wheel bearing as well as the TRE with that much wobble.. That normally comes with a speed related droning as well though. Changing the TRE is a piece of piss mate, just unthread the old one and thread the new and bolt it back up. No need for a garage. You'll need alignment...

Make sure you get a front alignment after fitting new dampers mate. Its amazing how much difference alignment can make on track.

If its running spot on and the suspension and chassis bushes are fresh then all you need is decent tyres and front brake pads IMO. You can even run on OE brakes and road tyres but you'll need to regulate them as they fade very easily on track.

I've used 11 year old Toyo R888's on track without issue. Think it all depends on condition, if dry, hard and cracked then no chance.
