Could be something daft like a dodgy steering angle sensor giving false readings to the ABS ECU. Could also be something a little as a intermittent ABS sensor or maybe a worn/corroded/broken ABS ring.. I had never ending ABS issues with my old 182. In the end I pulled the ABS fuse and ran it...
Anyone log any lap times from the day? Managed a 1:14.5 on my 2nd session around 10:30am when it was still a little damp on NS2R 180's. Just didn't get the room on track in the PM on my AR1's to set a hot lap but reckon there'd be a few seconds to gain.
Was the boosted Clio the one with the rear bumper cut out? If so it was rapid. He drove like he stole it, ramping across every kerb. Corsa LET was no slouch either.
Quickest car out there was the boosted mk3 Clio with orange decals.
Video of various cars from the day, @Scrooge (from 9:50) @Adeyspec (sorry dude only got a glimpse from 12:45) @benji93 @Euan94 @cswalmsley (from 2:40)
Don't know the rest sorry but tag them if you do as I always like to see my car on track.
Too much negative camber maybe, where the contact patch is reduced to the insides. The additional weight will have increased the patch maybe, dunno strange one. I found the M1155 quite consistent in the Clio but totally different cars.
@andybond I waited for you to catch up in the AM session so we could have a little tussle and as you came through port froid I just seen you in my mirror do 2 x 360 spins but catch it, bravo ?
Yep had 2 big moments myself, the one above and some cowboy in a grey Meg 250 who overtook me on the left going into the last corner and cut across me.
Great weekend. Brilliantly organised and the evening food was delightful. Track etiquette was brilliant for the most part, just a couple of egotistical idiots but you get these at every track day so its nothing new.
