I dont really know any1 off here either. But this would be a good chance to meet a lot of people off of the club, plus bring a friend down and enjoy the car show.
If you click on the Alpine 1s, it tells you which year Clio they are for. If you're still not sure give them a ring. I dont know which 1 it would be I've not got Alpine HU in my car.
Tickets booked and hotel in corby booked. I'm all set for my 1st FCS :D. Just out of interest what actually happens in terms of getting on the club stand, is it an early start on the Sunday?
When I had mine 60mm there were no problems, I've goen down by about 70mm now and the tyres is just catchin the arch round tight corners. 60mm was just above the wheels so how you described:
bump strips and some smoothing done on the bumpers, not decided just how much yet though, still trying to picture it.
Edit, where abouts is skill customs?
Hey
I was looking at getting some stuff on my car smoothed out and I was wondering if there are any good body shops in or around Manchester that people could recommend?
Where abouts in manchester are you again? I could refer you to a garage who having sorted my suspension up and stuff on all my cars, they are really good.
Heh, makes me glad I'm too lazy to do it myself, went into the garage on Tuesday and i'm well happy with the results, I may have to lower the frotns a bit more thought once I've grinded the arches... raising/lowering the kit is much easier so i'm sure you'll be OK with it once uv had time to...
I'm not sure if you're insurance is worse or mine mate, I've had my car back and sent it off again and again, and now they're refusing to admit further damage caused as a result of the poor work done H Samsons, causing me to have to pay for a new door. I hope you get yours sorted out soon...
no light on usually means no power to the amp. check the cables in the back of your head unit and trace them down the car. make sure there are no loose connections.
heh, Renault wanted £650 for my 72k service with a new cambelt. I took it to a garage that my dad goes to an £250 for the lot. A world of difference in price, Renault are a rip off.
He takes the door off of a similar silver clio parked down an ally....
just messing mate, however after my door got damaged i've been quoted anywhere upto £1k for the fix! I hope you get it sorted a bit cheaper
F*ck that, find a decent back street garage... I know what you mean though, my friend has a mk1 he found the cheapest place he could and the back bumper is over to the left and the sideskirts were screwed on, and you can see the screw on the door sills when the doors shut.
You could try this...
