What one have you got @frayz as i was looking at getting pressure washer too. I use the farmers one (which is superb) when I take my stuff to work but if I'm at home then I take my buckets and equipment to the local garage. I was looking at Nilfisk ones so I dont have to keep asking the farmer.
As above.
Mine is a replica and came on the car when I bought it, although mine does look slightly larger than normal. Trophy ones are obviously more money too.
@RSPez
So I have the standard with powerflex mount on the left, the BTM bracket with mount (Toyota one in Frayz's link) on the right and the OE standard bracket and mount at the rear, with with only 1 mount on the right hand side.
Thanks mate! Yes, I'm very happy with it. Build quality, sound, looks, it ticks all my boxes. Will keep the sports cat in too. Curious to see what it sounds like decatted, but as I like it as it is, that's £50 - £70 that doesnt really need to be spent.
Thanks Pez.
Well I know @frayz Looked...
All went well with the BTM deal and i picked it up on the Saturday as mentioned. Is it great condition and just needed a little polish up. Oddly, a few days before i saw this for sale, i bought a powerflex exhaust mount off @midge for my ktec as i thought it might help it sitting central as it...
@Nik did you set up a thread so that photos can be uploaded throughout the year, rather than just when the calender is being produced? I remember there being talks of it.
Yeah, can only echo above. Looks clean and nice to see maintenance things done to keep on top of it.
Good work mate.
Also, the splitter makes such a difference 👍
I paid £23 delivered so I'd give it a go for that. As said, I thought I'd have to just jetwash it off and that was that, but washing is still a must. It's better than having no product so that's a good thing. Feels different to wax too, so maybe that's why I was comparing. I've done it now and...
I'm no detailing pro so can just give a "normal" answer. I thought it was ok, but not amazing. Although maybe i had high Hope's that it was going to wash off like silk and be really easy. You still need to wash the wheels and what not.
I followed the guide by washing wheels thoroughly, drying...
@Crazylegs yes a lot of clios go down to 15s. Handling and choice and price of tyres is the selling points.
Saying that, I had cooksports on my RB with turinis (16s) and it never rubbed.
Tyre size is 195/50/15. The yokos have a less bulbous side wall than these. Had them in the same size. I'd say 98% stick with 195/50 when on 15s with these. You shouldn't rub with that size on cooksports. I never did when I had those springs and tyre size on my old BG.
Standard wheels (8 spoke)...
Thank you chaps 👍
I'm running Nankang NS2R's all round. There ok for the money, but I prefer my previous Yoko AD08R's that I had before. They are a better tyre. That's just my personal opinion. I'm no race driver, just like a decent tyre should I want grip, but car is used daily so still needs...
I used Carbon Collective ceramic stuff.
Only washed them once but come up ok. Not like super silk though. I think adding a wheel wax will help. I have poorboys stuff. It's ok for a few weeks depending on how often the wheels get dirty. But its cheap and I had some leftover.
I'll look into a...
