I have a C902 in front of me right now (waiting to be sent as sold on ebay!)
Its a nice looking handset, camera is very good. There are some great pics on esato that have been taken. Saying that, its only good in good light, low light shooting and shooting with the 'flash' is nasty.
The...
Re: d90 video
Manual focus makes a lot of sense really! Gives you so much control to focus on what you want, foreground, background etc. Will be a lot of fun expermenting, especially with wide angle lenses, we make for some real unique footage! The video taken with the fisheye lens is nothing...
Think the 2 open topics can be merged on the D90!!!
Would love to try my 30mm on the D90!!
And ukaskew... you would get some serious footage with your rather small sigma lens! A standard video camera just couldn't give you that kind of zoom!
Movie clip from camera:

Inc with fish eye lens!!!
What differs from your normal P&S cam is the different effects using differnt lenses. In my opinion it looks like a pretty good addition after watching the clip!
In my opinion, your best bet is to make sure you get the 55-200VR rather than the non VR version, it helps a lot when at 200mm.
Get a new one from Amazon with the cash back then buy the 55-200VR from ebay or here:

Its pretty bizzare, not something I would normally associate with an SLR, but as long as they have not sacrificed anything else to have the video I think it will be ok.
So, would these close-up filters be better on my 18-200 or 30mm? The 30mm is much better at Macro due to its focusing distance but the 30mm goes to F1.4?
Was a rather creepy yesterday evening, think we were there just after someone has jumped off the edge or a boat might have come aground (Beachy Head has one of the highest suicide rates in the UK). There were police and an ambulance and although we couldn't get close you could see the lifeboat...
I currently have an SB-400 but considering the SB-600 as the 400 has its limitations. Plus the SB-600 matches your zoom level.
Anyone got or used the SB-600??
Cheers for all the info, I think I might just stick with the D40 for now, as both my lenses are AF-S or HSM and I dont need any more lenses just yet, plus the ones i do want (10-20 Sigma!) are HSM anyway. Think I will follow Clarts lead and save like hell for the D300!!
Great pics, great place too!! Really wished I had taken my 30mm there instead of the 18-200 for crisper shots as its such a great place!

6th one down is my favorite of yours, love the Blue!
I found the best way was a fairly quick shutter speed, then pan the planes so the camera gets them in focus before snapping away!!
Also depends how quickly the camera does auto focus.
My best result was:
This was at a shutter speed of 1/1250, f5.6 and iso 200 if thats any help!
