its it just a bolt on, or is it one of the 57i kits? Just wondering as it might be sucking in too much cold air when first starting to will be jerky as hell (i think) and then when its warm it will be sucking in lots of warm air causing the loss of power.

Ben just one more question, if the prob is a small oil leak which it appears to be, will any additives have any effect, i know u can get stuff like radweld for radiator leaks, was wondering if any similar would work for the fuel system? Prolly a crazy idea but worth asking :) Thanks

yeah hehe :) nah i bought it from a garage a month or two back and it come with a 3 month mechanical breakdown warranty. ah well, guess il have to get saving :( there goes the new brakes!

So i guess im looking about £100 (two hours labour etc). So the best idea is take it down the garage and get a compression test done, then try to find out if it is the problem. What sort of results should i be looking for from the test?

its a hard white carbon build up. Takes a little scrubbing but it cleans up ok each time. Any ideas?

yeah the other three are fine, look exactly how they should. its just plug number 3 keeps developing a build up, firstly i replaced it for a new one, and now i just clean it with a wire brush every now and again. Thanks
