Great stuff that sounds like a better option ££ wise than a full new exhaust.
its more where the car lives is in a garage at the back of a load of houses, you have to travel up a walled lane so the noise is just amplified everywhere.
Ive not got a video that does it justice of how loud it...

The Clio shall be getting picked up this weekend to get its new heart and some improvements, ive vowed to not buy anything else this month as the old credit card has been taking a beating.
Ordered all the fluids oils/gbox oil/ coolant / brake fluid and a new clutch cable and some washers from...
I totally get where you are both coming from, however its far cheaper to run and 50 a month less than what I was paying for my golf at the time as well.
I actually test drove a new Megane rs however it wasn't what I was after, couldn't do over 50mpg on a run out over the motorway or average...
Cheers mate definitely does the job A-B comfy and cheap
I’m chuffed with it, I ordered before actually seeing one in person just pictures online and was totally surprised by the interior and performance for what it is.
Thanks mate, yeah I’m sure you can pick these up online a bit cheaper now...
Got to be my favourite ph1 the exclusive!
if a minty standard one came up for sale I recon id ditch my daily or ph2 for one!
also a big Saab fan! looking forward to watching this thread
Well ive not updated on here for a while, the car had a good few months before a few little issues.
first being the aircon rad bracket rusted and fell off burst the rad and I was left stranded with no coolant. but was shortly fixed and back on the road.
done a few minor road trips in and...
Ive not posted a while on here so after buying a load of bits for my Clio last night I thought id update on the daily and try and find my project thread for the Clio as well.
So after my golf going back at the end of lease, I was knocking around in my dads 1.6 Volvo C30 for a few months and it...
Yes for 16 years old I can't fault it, it had some ling long tyres on the front though and the wheels need a refurb but apart from that it would seem like it has been very well looked after. the folder of history is very very substantial every little thing accounted for.
Managed to find my way back into a Clio after a good few years. Fancied a second car as my GTD was becoming very boring.
With the intention of next year doing a few road trips and track days I was on the search for another Clio, This came up for sale on the Clio sport owners club on facebook...
Just seen this, ive never seen 50mpg I've done about 14k miles now and average about 38 - 42 at the very most.
Was in the VW dealer today LUSTING after the new Golf R, hopefully I can make the man maths work out come next April when this goes back...
The difference isn’t when normal driving, I can take this a blast over some lovely Scottish backroads every weekend and still see 30+ mpg and won’t drop below that, I simply couldn’t do that in a GTI.
Not to mention the GTI’s god awful red decals inside and out. Stick kick myself for not...
I love how it looks and to be honest its a really nice place to be while driving, the problem I think was I had my heart set on an R and it was just too long to wait at the time so settled for this. Coupled with all the small issues I've had I don't recon I will be in a VW any time soon after...
Ah right I see, I've nothing to compare it to it drives the same since I've picked it up (excluding the problems). it drives a whole lot better than my 61 plate 200k mile transit and in some situations it cruises better than the mrs Abarth lol
I will be honest mate I'm not in the know, however that was back in 2015 and I'm sure the defeat device they had in the 09 - 15 cars was just to fool the testing system that read the emissions, I could be totally wrong.
If you are asking if its slow.. a golf R would walk away from it, a 1.4tsi...
Yeah its not great is it, still cheaper to run than a petrol so can't complain.
If I've been driving for a few hours it will kick in but thats not very often maybe once every 2 weeks, I mostly do short half hour drives.
Total mix, I used to take my van home from work but now that I've moved house I do a short 8 mile commute most mornings. that brings it down I recon.
Weekends and evenings can be anything from stop start around town and short blasts on the motorway.
It pretty much gets driven every way you...
Sorry not been on here in a while, have around 11500 miles on the car now not without a few issues.
The car went in for a squeak while using cruise control, turned out to be a stone stuck behind the disc. However they diagnosed a noise on startup that meant the car needed a new modified...
This is my issue I want a camera on the front of the garage overlooking the drive. The garage at its closest point to the house is 6m away then to the camera easily another 6 - 10m. So would need a load of cabling, then the other camera is for on the front porch witch is at the other side of the...
