PMS shifter came in the mail, as ive had an abundance of free time I set about doing a mini restoration on it.
I will note the paint job isn't the best however it will keep it protected. On a plus I will be keeping all the interior in and the gear gator.

Thank you very much appreciated, is there anything else that is recommended to do the shifter to be a little more road friendly or is it just a case of faffing about with adjusting it.
Im waiting on a second hand PMS shifter coming and as its going into a road car I had been looking into replacing the bearing with one of these.
As ive not yet stripped the one I have my question is, when I strip the old shifter down to replace the bearing it looks like the PMS bearing that is...
My AC rad rusted off its bracket and took out the radiator, left me with no coolant and stranded! Took the opportunity to delete the AC and hpas while the engine was out. I’ve spent enough money this year without painting bolts 😅
I will be honest I look at all the threads like yours and it scares me that it just becomes never ending as I can be very obsessive once I've started. Trying to stay on the side of just doing the functional stuff on my own project.. for now.
Won myself a PMS shifter on Ebay earlier in the week. For the price it was I'm going to just order up all new bearings and bushings give it a lick of paint and wack it in the car. I will upload some pics doing that once it gets here.

Also some of his portfolio can be seen here at www.tomgidden.com however lots of the stuff he take photos of are under embargo due to cars being for sale etc, still worth a gander really talented behind a camera.
Just for you here's a couple we shot back in January 2019 in Italy. I don't have any of his images these are just off my phone.

My friend has started a YouTube channel, his job entails hanging around with some very special vehicles and shooting some epic content.
Great guy took me on a trip around Europe in 2019 to shoot a load of very expensive motors for a couple of well known auction companies.
I thought the least...
Had really planned on having the car back on the road by now and enjoying the sunny days and all the beautiful pothole filled Scottish roads.
However as with the currant climate that was not to be.
