ripped all my interior out and took it its last drive to its new home at my workshop.
will be breaking it in the next couple of weeks to fund the deposit of a new car!
Was a horrible gut wrenching feeling knowing it will be the last time its on the road..
Had a retrimed leather bench in black to match the fronts had the headrests removed from it and looked sweet! Will post a picture later when I finish work of the bench!
Pm me about subframes.
yeah they where mine had custom subframes made up to fit them, sold the seats ages ago for a fair amount they go for anything from £600- £1000 for a set.
They where out of a Vectra VXR.
i still have the subframes in my workshop if you happen to get a set i could sell you them.

you will find his name linked to the pictures of the car.. and his last name is Wilson
i kind of know the guy that used to own it, was a couple years older than me went to my school.
he lives just round from where i work in kirkintilloch, and was always involved in central scotland cruisers..
everytime i have seen the car he was booting it around. drove like a f**king wanker...
can see 12mpg around town without even trying, is it your mate that has the strange colour dark blue mk4 r32? i think it has black bbs and its quite low.
reg is like s33 something possibly? if so i saw it in glasgow last night when going for a munch.
my mates got one sounds awesome.. get yourself a milltek.
last week we saw 12.5 mpg last night 15mpg on the motorway 22mpg costs a fortune to run.
the built in satnav is amazing as is the dsg love them!
you might see this kicking around glasgow and bishopbriggs area.
will take a look at the alternator tomorrow, dont think the water pump was replaced.
what i dont understand is why the noise goes away if you turn the wheel.
it will no dout be expensive but want to know what the problem is before i set about breaking it for parts or fix it eventually.
Ok so not even botherd with my car for the passed month or so.. as ive had mega problems with it since november.
Was suspected to be dephaser but now i think its the power steering pump again as when you turn the wheel the tapping/clunking noise goes away.
history.. cars had the belts done...
I had a read at the engine dynamics one seem like an ok price. Is that the going rate? will be phoning around some specialists on monday to try and sort something out.
im not hunting power or anything tbh just want a fresh engine.
Well after some bad luck, i recon my engine is on its way out.
So looking to have my engine rebuilt so its nice and fresh and hopefully i wont have to worry about anything for a good while.
i had always planned on a rebuild but maybe not this soon however, i have a few questions:
How much...
So I'm a noob to car cleaning etc
So my interior is pretty gubbed at the moment, car had been sitting for 3 months with a leaking roof and no headliner so condensation go the better of the seats.
Including moss growth and water marks and such like, also have made the carpets/seats and door...
Everything checked out as a Williams when previous owner bought it. Sunroof is a webasto (sp) and sits much further back than say a valves etc. It has been lowerd though in that pic don't think it had standard suspension (not sure if springs and shocks or just springs.)
See that's what I thought, about it going straight away. Going to take it somewhere when I get the chance and get a second opinion. Then I can speak with a few of the specialists on here see if I can get some work done!
