I'll be sticking with the OE belt for the Celica and taking my chances as my head is a cm from the roof with a helmet on. I've rolled a car wearing a OE belt which landed on its roof and walked away without a scratch so thats proof enough for me that an OE belt still works in a roll over situation.
Yeah I'm in a few communities and the racing is a lot better, but you find that there's a lot of waiting around. e.g recently they stated the race lobby will open at 7:30 and the race start at 8, the race started at 8:30 , so I wasted over an hour before even getting on track.
If you run a fixed back bucket seat with harness without a roll cage and you actually roll you will be firmly planted in your seat with minimal lateral movement of the upper body and the top of your skull would be taking the impact if landing on the roof and it crushed in. If using a 3 point OE...
I really don't know why these people buy the ultimate racing sim just to crash into everyone, even the experienced lot do it. God forbid a newbie has more skill than an experienced user, little nudge from behind every time under braking. Pointless, I constantly leave the game frustrated.
Aye deleted it as know one entered. Its on my leaderboards though.
Although my wheel & pedals, seat and PC2 game will be up for sale soon as online is full of morons, and single player is terrible! Got bored of this game very quickly!
You need to change it mate, if its just you who drives the car get a used aftermarket base mounted seat from eBay for around £100, a single jon-foz xlow frame (I have one spare ) and then just use your standard seat belt, that's what i'll be doing in my new track project as you don't want...
Ditch the rubbers that will lower it a cm or so, but to get real lows you need an xlow frame with no seat runners/sliders. I had the xlow frame with runners and still found it to high and I'm only 6ft.
Weird how you find the FN2 much more comfy than a 172 cup. I hated the ride on our old 1.8 FN and my 182 on fresh dampers and APEX springs was much comfier than the Civic.
Don't bother, not much louder, can be a pig to seal, minimal gains if any, mot headache and my mpg dropped by 3-4 mpg.
Just throw an intake on if you want a bit more noise.
Should be fine mate, just check the inner clearance and use this calculator to see the new clearance.

Yeah mate, asked his permission before hand obviously, just said I'd need to see it lift properly in low gears and take it around a few corners to make sure nothing was worn and needed replacing, lol.
Haha nice one, love taking people out for scare rides. I bough a car recently and scared the sh*t out of the owner, didn't even get out of 3rd and took a few roundabouts at a half decent pace and the poor guy was hanging on for dear life. Not sure his sciatica pillow helped him either as it flew...
