Another option if you want a road/track pad is the PBS brake pad and they are only £109 and are meant to be better than the DS2500 and CL5+.

Pagid out the OE option, Mintex and Ferodo premier are also decent. Brembo OE are pants if pushed, Renault are just Bosch OE but are decent. Just get on ECP and they're all pretty much the same price. Used them all mentioned above by the way.

My mate who comes all the track days with me weighs in at 115kg, the difference is ridiculous. 2-3 seconds a lap easy, its not just the time lap time difference, the car handles horribly.
Just fucked the passenger and rear seats out and let him drive. More fun for everyone.
Yeah the 6 was a fat bstard, near 1700kg but to be fair it wasn't half bad on track, shredded a set of tyres and pads in one day but held its own at Oulton. Just a bit boring being TC for track, decent enough on the road but it was wasted on me as I drive like miss daisy, lol.
Clio goes well and decent driving but its not really a monumental achievement is it 310hp/tonne in the GTS v 350/tonne in the cup guessing it weights around 1000kg with passenger? And on slicks to boot. I highly doubt he'd be annoyed either as at the end of the day he drives home in his £90k...
Just want rid of this now, back box alone is worth £50 surely. Centre pipe would be fine with a few little spot welds or some decent exhaust silicone/paste/putty. You could just grind the decat off if you didn't want this and sell separately...
Drys within 24 hours mate. It will be like waxoil were its tacky on application and drys after 24-48 hours.
Did you use this on the exterior of the unibody or just in the hollow cavities?
Need to underseal my new aging track toy so have purchased a load of wire brush attachments to go on my drill and angle grinder to remove all the surface rust, and purchased some decent rust convertor.
So what do you recommend as undersealer for the Chassis, sills, sub-frames etc? Reading a few...
Horses for courses with the Clio, couldn't think of anything worse than using one as a commuter car doing 15k miles a year mostly motorway, on the other hand for the money I couldn't think of a better car if your commute is short with a few b-roads and is also used for weekend blasts.
I ended...
You'll just be needing a different head which is much cheaper than a new engine if the timing has only slipped. Open it up and take it from there.
Or break it for parts and buy something chain driven and Jap.
Yep I had a full on love, hate relationship with mine. Loved it when it was working and hated it when it wasn't. Sadly it finished me despising the thing and I just wanted it out of my sight!
I'd be bored shitless with the 250 compared to the 200hp Clio. EP3 is a good car but you'd need some expensive mods to get it as fun, exciting and as fast as the Clio. Owned both a modified ep3 and 182 and modded TC'd motor and I just dont like the latter, just doesn't give you the same buzz as...
Its such a grey area and I totally agree that a harness in the grand scheme of things would probably be safer in most instances but its just the worst instance (rolling over and landing flat on its roof) that it wouldn't be the safest option, and that for me is enough not to wear one especially...
