The pit garages themselves are usually full of other stuff, at Donington it was the Ferrari Open cars.
We usually have a space set out in the paddock area, but not in the actual garages themselves.
Thanks again guys.
I emailed her last week with my pricing, haven't heard back yet
Although I've been told she's on holiday, so I'll keep my fingers crossed :)
It was a real shame Tony didn't have a proper chance to nail it, but having witnessed both accidents at that corner, it would have taken a while to clean up.
Good to hear the car was epic (for once ;)). Looking forward to Anglesey, considering the success you had their last time :)
Looking good Steve.
One thing you can do, change the permalink settings. So your page URL will be xxx.com/contact rather than some random letters/numbers
Cracking day again. Jay's race report will give more detail, but we qualified 11th then finished 6th! The car looked like it was handling awesome, and for once Jay and Tony sounded properly pleased with it.
We were lucky with the weather too, it pissed it down around midday, but it was...
Cheers Andy - sound advice.
I emailed her earlier with my terms. I did point out that the images would be hers to keep, and do whatever she likes with them.
Hope I get a reply soon :)
Thanks for the advice so far guys.
I was thinking around £100 initially, but I think that might be a bit low. If it's for promotional material, then they should have a hefty budget for it.
The main reason I'm wary of charging based on time is because I'm still learning myself. So another photographer who does this constantly could just place the products down, fiddle with the lights for a bit, then job done. But I would take a bit longer to get the same result (I hope). But then I...
One thing I have always been crap at is charging people. I don't do it often, mainly because I'm not confident enough in my photography to actually charge people.
So it's the ago old question.......how much do I charge?
I know this depends on a number of different things, like what they...
MacRumours is full of retards.
I found it, hoping it was a good source of info to a new Apple user. It's just full of threads like 'buy now or wait?' or shortly after a new prodcut is released, they ask if they should wait for the next release!
Idiots.
If I started from scratch, I'd just uprate the brakes and get a set of tyres/wheels specifically for on track. That's about it.
I've gone a bit further than that with my car, but brakes and tyres (and tuition) are all you need really.
I've always wanted to have a go at this, but having a decent place to do it is a must. I tried to set up a pikey studio in my room, but it wasn't practical at all.
Luckily, when the company where I worked moved to a new building, there was a studio. I persuaded them to keep it (they wanted...
^Nice macro :)
I'm really getting into this product photography malarky, as we have a studio at work I thought I'd make the most of it!
Just a few test shots from earlier:
I will have a go with a few Apple products, as they're nice and minimal in design, so great to photograph (but not...
Liking these, my main gripe would be the mega distortion - mainly in the first pic. His head just looks a bit massive to me.
I take it you used a wide angle lens?
