Lol just read through that, My astra in terms of handling performance is no where as good as the 182 was. However the gearbox is lovely and power on tap is awesome. Not as much fun at the Clio though but still a decent car!

There was an interesting vid on utube actually off 5th gear which compared a boggo 1.4 clio a 2.0 "sporty" hatch and a turbod jap car think the 1.4 gained nothing, the 2.0ltr gained 1 or 2 ponies and the jap car got a reasonable amount(10-20)
