You should get both inlets matched, proper way of doing it ;) however it is the bottom inlet which gives the gains not the top inlet, but its good practice to match both, ktec inlets are rather expensive imo, you can get both upper and lower inlet done elsewhere for less money

I have ds2500 pads with shim still on and ive never had any squeeling since fitted, they were fitted august last year

Is it a must to remove the shims Fred?, I know some say take them off but others say leave on as they stop any squeaking

Go on ebay for the plugs thats where i got mine from, im surprised they didnt use genuine plugs to be honest

Always stick with the originals NGK PFR6E-10, the f4r engines always run best with them, there about £29 a set from ebay

I thought BMC kits were more restrictive than the standard airbox

I got mine done there over a year ago now, i supplied my own parts and the labour was about £300, mine is a cup so its less money to change the cambelt but the price was still high but i needed it doing asap so i bit the bullet and got it done, i now go to mickleton service station in barnard...

No, using different plugs rather than originals can cause lumpy idle or misfire, just stick with the originals as the engine likes them the best, ebay are the cheapest for them, about £29 delivered, from renault there about £60

Use the standard plugs what come on the car NGK PFR6E - 10, dont use anything else

Between 160-170bhp they make, and for matched inlets they give 3bhp max

Its up to you really, but if you have an exhaust fitted you should see slightly better gains and you will get a custom map which takes into account the exhaust

pipercross and itg are the least restrictive so these are the ones to go for
