When you say not that expensive, how much we talking?
I've just had a quick look on the scrapyard website that's about 30 seconds from my house and they've got a couple of 1.2 Clios in with electric windows so I'm hoping they still have some handles left in good condition.
Where'd you get the door handles from mate? I've got one non sticky one and one sticky one which has been doing my head in for ages, need them to match!
Your old CV boot looks like it's done exactly what my stretchy boots have done and rubbed on themselves to make a hole.
About 2 years now, and nope.
Any garage or a specialist?
Yeh that might be a good idea. I'm taking my decat off as soon as I get time so it'll be interesting to see whether it still smells of fuel after that.
As I said, I know that's how they are but mines been getting worse and obviously...
Nope, always put the same stuff in.
Will any fault reader be able to do it or does it need CLIP do you know?
Yeh it's when it's under load. When idling it doesn't sound like it's missing, just quite lumpy, hard to explain really.
May do coil pack and leads and take it from there, although...
Hi all,
Now I know 1*2's are horrible and lumpy when cold but recently my car has been running worse and worse upon start up when the engine is cold.
Once warmed up, it's much better but you can still feel it holding back quite significantly when going up the rev range.
I've recently...
@OssPoop has told me about your impressive collection but somehow I've never read your thread fully.
Just read from start to finish and wow, all I can say is epic! You do more work on your collection than I do on just my one 182!!
Loved the LY 200 but I think the SG is my favourite. Gutted I...
I'm sure I saw this advert on Facebook and the guy was saying he had it down at EFI once or twice but time was limited as Chris had people booked in after which meant he couldn't trace the problem fully in the time he had.
If I had the money id take the chance.
I'm sure Brad said the same thing about my car when I was last at Bram. He thought it had an upgraded clutch to handle more power haha.
Oh, and my spacers have been fine, bolts haven't moved at all HTH.
You doing 5mm front and back? I'm changing mine when I'm home for 5mm back and either 5mm or 10mm fronts. Found some 5mm hub Axel Spacers on eBay for the back as well.
I've just fitted brand new febi upper gearbox and engine mounts and my dogbone is poly bushed so I assume it'd be fine.
How hard is it to weld a v band in situ without removing the manifold? I was quoted £250 to remove my manifold, weld in a flexi and put it all back together as the guy wanted...
I thought this as no matter how hard I try, I can't get a good seal on the mani to cat joint.
Toyed with the idea of having a flexi welded in place but, for obvious reasons, most places want to have the mani off to do this which means dropping the subframe = £££
2 and a half hours each way from mine. We get back from holiday the week before and we'll be straight back and packing our stuff ready for the move to our new house so I really won't have time.
Mines started to do this and cold starts are getting worse and worse. A cheap code reader points to the lambda but suppose it could be coil pack, leads, plugs etc.
