Yeah I stared track days with a fully standard car and built it up gradually. It's part of the fun for me with the buzz of fitting something new and not knowing how it's going to change the car. Just recently upgraded to slicks so really excited to get to use these.
Thing is you will have learnt the cars behaviour on the limit with those ditch finders in the wet, best thing you could have done as now once you get decent tyres you will be able to really push on knowing the limits and more importantly how to control it on the limit.
Whatever you go for get something with a metal intake pipe as that's what makes the fatty sound so good as it resonates, bit like the AEM gear for the CTR.
Will do mate, hope its just that. Looking logically at it I best get it replaced before Oulton if it is starting to go as running slicks I can seeing it giving up quickly and spectacularly being on the NSF!
Cheers mate, will whip the hub off and see if Carl can fit the new bearing for me. It's gonna have to be after Oulton now though as I'm not paying for alignment twice as I'm in at Clear motorsport on the 13th for Corner weighting. Lets just hope it hold up :grimacing:
Got a MOT advisory for slight play in the NSF wheel bearing so gonna get it replaced, should I be replacing both or just wait until the OSF gives up before replacing? Also best place to purchase a good quality item without paying £82 a pop from RPD?
Mine is where Carl recommends and I have no issues adjusting once strapped in. You'll find once you get a setting you like you'll keep it there anyway. Mines a quarter turn from soft, anything firmer and it feels like an arm workout. Tried it on no assistance at Oulton and nearly binned it at...
Would anyone be up for a online CS.net race series on PS4? I can set it all up and maybe do a race or 2 once a week on a day and time to suit everyone. Getting really sick of the general lobby muppets now, and the communities are way, way to serious!
Cant for the life remember where mine is located, lol. Sure its replaced one of the wheels for dimming or headlights (green dot below). @bloke can you remember?
Final thoughts on this irrespective of figures. I'm happy with the car and the results that matter to me, which is purely track progression. It felt like a different car last time out due to more grunt coming out of the bends and down the straights. For me though It's how it's delivered and the...
