Guessing you're an ED customer trying to justify paying daft amounts of cash for work which could have been done a lot cheaper elsewhere?
And why would I go out of my way and actually pay them to use their rollers just to satisfy you.
Also I don't need a dyno graph to tell me my car has...
Why bother with catcams at £500+ when you can get similar results with 197 cams for £300 cheaper. For a similar price of the ED package on my 182 I had my belts done, Inc aircon delete, head work due to a few bent valves, oil service, EPAS conversion and a few other bits all mapped at EFI and...
Doesn't matter if you're ordering a 50p bolt or £5k coilovers, customer service shouldn't be any different! Us Brits just bend over and take it up the tale pipe when it comes to shoddy CS, f**k that s**t!
See I found the OE driving position horrendous, way to high for my liking! Yeah the OMP frames will sit slightly wonky but this can be rectified with spacers like washers or similar. Sounds to me the JF xlow frames maybe a little to low especially if the missus drives the car.
OMP ones don't still much lower than OE. For reference I'm 6ft on Jon Foz xlows and sliders and find it a tad to high still. I need to bin the sliders and it will be perfect.
I'll be running a 6J which is minimum for a 205, you'd be able to run up to 7.5J. I would fit them to my OZ F1's with a 7J but the offset is 43et and they may scrub without spacers. The OZ/Sparco RTT's I'm fitting them to are a 35et so should be fine.
Ive had new cup shocks before and both returned to there original position after pushing them in. One of the old shocks I took off didnt revert back to original position and was fooked.
Have you checked that the top mounts haven't come loose, and are in fact fitted correctly? You say old type top mounts so you mean the type without the newer design spacer? I ask this as its quite common with the new design, see below as an example..
When I took the car for a test drive, there...
They should be perfect for the Clio mate as they're a medium GG compound (same as the r888s), maybe an issue on something lighter like a 7 or similar. We'll soon see come the 9th of Feb...I'll report back.
I'd say the G29 is the best for under £200 yeah, look at the wheel stand pro V2 as well mate as they go really well together and it can be folded with the wheel and pedals in situ to reduce space when storing.
Running AST's and 9kg front/11kg rear springs, near 3 degrees of front camber and RARB so I should be able to really lean on the slicks. If dry the morning will just be to understand the tyre before really pushing on in the afternoon.... If confident that is.
My old worn 888s where really...
