My take on tyres is this...and I'm no expert, but what I've learned is that few people really understand how tyres work and what they're meant to do.
Worn out sidewalls? You're running them under-inflated or being too aggressive with your turn-in phase.
Understeer? Normally driver induced...
You'd be wrong!
I don't get fun from being fast, I get fun from driving my car as close the limit as I dare. That limit changes based upon what tyres I'm running, but the fun is still there, I may just be going slower while having it.
I don't do estates, or looks, but if I had to have an estate, I'd have one of these on looks alone.
There's just something about them that looks right.
That's another thing I noticed as I opened the door along with the throttle pedal, the red line.

It'll be the first car with a hydraulic rack I've driven since 2013! I'm really looking forward to it!
I'm going to see it and have a chat with the chap tomorrow night.
I've been offered a drive in this thing...I know nothing at all when it comes to these but I believe it's quite a special one.
The owner's had it for 10 years now and it seems to be completely original...still running the factory exhaust.
What do I need to know about it? He said it's a type R...
In the anchor point that doesn't have the GoPro mount screwed into it?
Or, like they do at Goodwood, in your glovebox. It's not a 'requirement' to have it fitted, they don't know if they're going to need to pull your car from the tyre wall from the front or back anchor point, so have it to hand...
