They arent that loud at all.
I have one with a cat, and a stripped out interior and it doesnt bother me at all.
I have some inboard videos from my road trip last year:

Also Tony, did you fit brand new discs at the start of the season?
If so, what were they like after the years racing?
I'm a bit worried that I'll be changing discs every 6 months lol! Glad they're only £50 odd!!
Yeh night time driving is comical now lol!
Havent had any complaints after my commute today, as in normal road use.
Bit noisy every now and then, but that doesnt bother me in the slightest.
I see what you mean about on or off Tony. The pedal feel on mine is quite soft initially, but then your...
Oh my gosh! Not long been out after fitting new brembo HC discs and the PF97s out of the Burpspeed race car.
So not new pads, but they were in very good condition, especially considering they've done a race season and a few track and test days!
Not long been back after bedding in and...
A gimmick?! Is that why so many manufacturers make proper macro lenses?!
I've got the 60mm f2.8D macro lens. There's no way I could get similar shots with the 50mm or any other lens I have for that matter. That's a cracking lens btw, check it out if you want a good lens.
The 105mm VR is...
^ lol thanks.
It's shots like the Colosseum one that make me glad I went for the D3. ISO1000, no major noise at all. Although I would love to have a tripod with me to do long exposures, I don't [I]need[I] one to get nice 'standard' photos, if you get my drift ;)
Philly - Rome is pretty cool...
Five days in Rome with a Nikon D3, Nikon 50mm 1.4G and Sigma 85mm 1.4 =
Pretty good trip, Im back there in a couple of weeks so I'll take some different lenses. Any one recommend something else to visit that I didn't?
Thanks for looking :)
Bit of a rush job this evening, having not touched the camera at all this week. Next week will be different - Rome for 5 days (on business, but I hope to see something!)
Good to see someone with a proper screen Adam!
God knows how people use glossy screens. That is the main reason why I won't by a iMac yet. If I did buy one, I'd have to wait until night to use it!!
My second hard drive bay arrived yesterday, so I fitted it last night - I've just been transferring a load of files to it.
Piece of cake to install, booted up and it detected it straight away. Reformatted it, created two partitions- one for storage and the other for Time Machine backups...
I went from 182 cup wheels to pro race 1.2s. (15")
If you're thinking of going light weight then get them, or something similar. You wont believe how heavy the 182 wheels are!
Believe me, you would probably get fed up after a while. 112 days out of the UK last year, imagine all that waiting on planes, airports and hotels......it soon gets to you!
