The vibrations will settle down after some use mate, mine was terrible initially even with dampener but rode it out and hardly any now. They are mega when pressing on, one of the best mods i have done to mine. Id have one in my daily dci if they were cheaper
Cant wait to get it done, purely for more room in the back. Keep looking at wheels for it, the plan was discreet but i think thats going out of the window
Update, Orange dci is running great touch wood, been doing loads of miles in it 500+ some weeks. 64mpg everywhere, quick reckon up and £200 profit on fuel this month which all goes back in the kitty for wear and tear & for when that expensive repair is needed.
Give it a wash last night as...
Also got the mrs 225 ph1 back on the road a couple of weeks ago. So if you wonder why its been raining constantly for the last two weeks its because we have got the two garage queens legal again:LOL: just stuck it in for mot and it passed no bother. Changed shocks all round for new o.e cup/r26...
Done a couple of jobs i have been putting off for years too, for no reason apart from being lazy. O.e rear speakers were totally past their best, so stuck in some pioneer replacements that i bought at least 5 years ago ! Ten min job that i never got round to.
O.e cone split
Also the seatbelt...
Late update,
Give the gtt a clean up for Retro Show at Santa Pod on the Sunday. Had some Angelwax products in stock, so 2 bucket wash, prepped and a coat of aw desirable wax. Came up nice, cleaned and dressed interior trims, basically got as much done as i could in 4 hours as time was tight...
Not keen on the zip tied flexi hoses mate, id go back to standard hoses that fit properly. I too had issues with braided flexis catching the strut on full lock on the Kangoo, decided not to use them in the end and stayed stock.
No worries at all mate (y) just collar me at some point as ill most likely be doing the rounds talking to everybody haha.
Looking forward to Blyton, its looking like it will be the last trackday for the Kangoo before it goes to the new owner.
Mine pops a bit on overrun on stock map, however its got no cat & single silencer system. Get the occasional bang on the high rpm upshifts when its hot.
They do have a hissy fit when parked up. The temec broke on ours when it had not been out, the garage for 6 month, first night out and the window fecking sticks down !
Temec module is knackered. Happened to me recently, double locked on total closure and window went down instead of up! Would not go up, had to strip the doorcard off and wedge glass up. No corrosion in the wiring plugs or nothing, module just broken.
