Paul works magic with the remaps and we've sorted a great map for the CNC inlets and other combinations of mods.
Well i say we, but paul diddles and fiddles the software.
Those are cat cam veniers, heavy duty and strong, but dont always spin 100% true, i always check every set i fit.
If you run those verniers you loose VVT, so only for extreem applications really.
:S
Phs1 172's have the highest flowing combination of the lot.
Phs2 172's and all 182's have a significantly worse exhaust port and basically the same inlet.
Between any of the models inlet ports, there is no more than 1-2% difference.
And gains to be had are massive due to poor...
Because to fit ARP rod bolts the rods have to be resized due to higher clamping loads which distorts the cap. That means engine out and apart, so for some £80 bolts, your got alot of money to spend fitting them.
Just bolt on the bodies and go, as the pistons will fail before the rods do.
ease of use for anybody who decides to fit it.
And 'even' if its only contruction quality, which when your paying the money you do for bodies, isnt a small issue considering material quality and tolerances.
And were talking about bodies at the moment.
I'm no geek on this, so can someone explain why the 360's online system is so much better?
I just want to pop on, play against other people online, then go do something else. I dont want a community where i can talk about how great mcfly are with someone.
What else do you do? surf the net...
no, i ran it on a few more toyotas.........but they are just so user unfriendly, cant control areas that i want in the way i want, support isnt as technical as i would like.
The software is something and adjusting parameters is often in gobbledygook........its old Gems technology so its got...
Its all in the details.
The jenvey kit will need the linkage setup as extra, the fuel rails are poo, you'll have to dick around with new fuel lines as the clio has moulded hardlines which cant have new fittings put on without gashing it together. The jenvey linkages and fingers are pressed...
i wouldnt bother with omex, there are plenty cheaper, better and more efficient ecu's out there.
You should of asked me about it today bud. Omex and clios are synonymous because a few of them have them on. Personally i'll never run one again.
Out of every clio i've driven, nothing is as sophisticated as the ledas.
Ol YS's fancy ally billies were good, no denying that........but only in one certain point of their adjustment range, thats the problem with monotubes......you shim up the valve system and its good right there. When i...
Why do you want to smooth the transition?
EX gasses do not work anything like inlet flow, they are constantly expanding.
Anti reversion properties of a large step are beneficial and there are many patented design which are specificly shaped sharp edges.
We dont normally fit 'just' cams as it becomes disappointing for the labour costs involved.
But its £1611 for the cams fitted, modified inlet, remap, cambelt kit, oil & filter, coolant, plugs.
£599.95
Just be careful where you get them installed as they are super sensitive to the timing and tensioning procedure, which greatly affects the torque curve. Its not quite as simple as having the 'tools'.
